Join us at the iconic Hali'imaile General Store for Happy Hour in our bar and front lanai areas . We offer delicious food and drink specials daily from 2:30 - 4:30*. Food options include HGS favorites like our Crab Pizza and Upcountry Salad, as well as a delicious Herb Ricotta & Ceviche of the day. Wash it down with drink specials on select beer, wine and cocktails, including Wendy's champion Tai Mai. Don't forget to save room for our famous Pineapple Upside Down cake, featuring Maui Gold pineapples from right next door. *All Happy Hour food must be ordered no later than 4:30.

Dive into a hearty buffet with island favorites like Hawaiian Cowboy Caviar, tender Kalua Pig, and mouthwatering Huli Huli Chicken. The feast kicks off at 6 PM, and the vibes get even better with live music from Kaina Kountry starting at 6:30. Our full bar will be available, including some special cocktails and $5 Green Bottles! Join the Hali'imaile General Store Ohana for our famous Thanksgiving Day Buffet. We will be serving an assortment of traditional Thanksgiving and local dishes and there'll be something for everyone in the family. Larry Golis will also be entertaining everyone with his acoustic guitar and vocals. The price will be $75 for adults and $35 for keiki (tax and gratuity are additional). Please note that we will only be serving the buffet on this day and our regular menus will not be available. We look forward to spending this special day with you. Happy Thanksgiving.

Best meal we’ve had during our two weeks on Maui. The paniolo BBQ ribs were a standout. Our waitperson was friendly and attentive.

HGS has always been a favorite can’t miss restaurant for us on Maui. Last year when we dined here the restaurant had been sold by Bev Gannon to new management and the service and food suffered greatly. We decided to give it another try one year later and I am happy report that HGS is as great as it used to be!! Wonderful atmosphere, great food, excellent service, very friendly. Yay - one of our Maui favorites again! Don’t miss it (but make a reservation!).

Never miss a chance to eat at Haiillmaile General Store. Love “yesterday’s soup” which always tastes better today!! Mushroom soup this time! No matter what you choose it’s all delicious. Fresh fish always available in different preparations. But don’t forget to start with a Mango Margarita! Yum!

Happy hour crab pizza was stellar and frozen rum, lemon, lime coconut drink refreshing and tasty. Our waiter, whose name escapes me, was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and fun. We shall return for sure. My husband went wild over the pineapple upside down dessert with added vanilla bean ice cream. I confess I enjoyed it too! Yum. 😋👍🏻🥰

The food is awesome - we each had yummy salads. No room left for dessert but got it to go - the pineapple upside down cake of course…it was so nice just relaxing. If you’re in a hurry skip it but if you have the time to really enjoy your meal this is the place.
