At the Halfway Inn, we pride ourselves on offering delicious dishes and a comfortable atmosphere. Our cosy dining areas complete with log burning fires, flagstone floors and wattle and daub walls, make for the perfect place to enjoy a spot to eat. During the summer months, our beautifully bright airy garden room and extensive outside seating areas are perfectly positioned for guests to dine al ’fresco. We’ve got everyone’s taste buds covered, from traditional pub classics like our Beer Battered Fish and Chips to our speciality dishes like our Vegan Five Bean and Lentil Chilli.

Last minute booking and glad we booked, as they couldn't accommodate anymore people inside when we arrived. I think this was due to being under staffed but they allowed for people outside. You could also take dogs which is a huge plus. Staff really lovely and although busy couldn't do enough for you . Pub clean and tidy. Food was good. I had tomahawk which got the fat lovely and crispy. My son had the burger and OH had fish and chips all came out looking and tasting lovely. My only thing which isn't for the owners was with hall and Woodhouse and they no longer offer bluelight discount. I had sort of budgeted to go there with that in mind, as a treat. Oh and the menu online was slightly different but I think it was June menu still on there Will be revisiting - hope you find more staff to help you soon!!

Pleasant visit. Good food. Excellent staff. Nice and quiet. Good value and varied menu. Recommended.

Good food , 5 meals ordered everyone excellent, staff friendly, clean and tidy , they even had dog treats and beers for sale would definitely recommend and would go again really nice place

Booked ahead but would have been fine to come on spec. Order taken promptly and food came in a very timely manner. We both had scampi and chips which was plentiful. Staff were attentive and friendly and the ambience was good

Stopped overnight before early Poole ferry departure. Food and drinks excellent. Service quick and friendly. Will be coming again. Reccomend sea bass with cauliflower velouté and the pork tomahawk. A good pint too Really enjoyed the bramble gin. Thanks to the team.
