Not eaten here before but recommended to us by a former Sales Team member from The Grand. Menu had recently been changed, we went for 3 small starters between us, the pie (which did take 30 minutes as it said it would), the lamb, and shared a dessert. We also treated ourselves to a more expensive bottle of wine. If I was being picky, the knowledge of the wines from the lady who served it us was debateable, but the wine itself was as we expected. All 3 starters were spot on, especially the Yorkshire Chorizo and beetroot hummus. Main courses were piping hot, the chips were particularly brilliant, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding.....wow. I also have a nut allergy and was well looked after. Definitely going to be returning.

Amazing quality food. Brilliant service. Excellent pub which oozes cozy vibes, traditional meals with modern twists. Have been before and will definitely be going again.

We were really excited to come again as we had been before and stayed at the hotel but this time the food was not the best. It took a long time to come out and was pretty bland. Wish it was a better experience as we were looking forward to it but we were sadly disappointed.

Good quality food, excellent service and great value for money! First visit to this restaurant and it will definitely not be our last!

Booked for a Sunday . The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We ordered the vegetarian roast and the steak pie. Mine was delicious and my husband said it was the best steak pie he'd ever had, packed full with quality steak. We shared a sticky toffee pudding which was equally good. Just had a bottle of water with our meal and it came to £55. We'd certainly recommend Guy Fawkes and you need to book ahead.

Sticky tables. The forks weee literally stuck to the table. Put an immediate downer on the rest of the experience

The roast beef Sunday lunch was delicious and would definitely recommend it . Lovely atmosphere with very attentive serving staff . We will definitely be returning to the Guy Fawkes pub .
