Guillermo's Restaurante is always great! Have dined there many times and never disappointed. Food and service are always top notch. Don't miss it if you are in the Palm Desert area.

Used to be a good place but now is priced way over it's value. Everything a few dollars more than it should be. Portions are small. Extra cost to share. Extra cost for tortillas. Margaritas $12 and up each. Not worth it.

First time to Guillermo's and was VERY impressed! Definitely NOT your "typical" Mexican restaurant. Food was outstanding--as was the service. Look forward to going back.

We have Mexican food all the time in San Diego, but I’ve never had such bland Mexican food before. I wanted to like it because of all the positive reviews, but even the guacamole lacked any sort of flavor. It seems like the spiciness and flavor of the food has been tempered down for some reason. The drinks were good though.

Second time here. Food good but not top notch. They do not offer many authentic staples like tacos for example. They do have rib eye steak tacos but that’s all. Non tostada. The shrimp dish came out under cooked. Service is outstanding

Not your typical Mexican food I was expecting. Everything from the salsa to the dishes were different. I had an octopus dish and that was simply the most tender octopus I’ve ever had. Very good but I felt like the chef could do more. I don’t know how to describe it but the flavors felt muted.. and precisely muted. Like the skill is there but the recipe was only half there. I don’t mean this as a bad thing. I actually mean it as a compliment. I’m not a foodie though so I could totally be wrong. My wife got a burrito dish that she said was really good. I do plan to come back and try other dishes though. If you want Mexican food but not your typical fair I highly recommend trying this place.
