Since I visited NYC the first time, after walking half of Central Park on a summer day, I was looking for something refreshing to drink and as I was walking down the streets I encountered this amazing place. As a Latina, and after a long walk, eating delicious warm food and a well made mojito is EVERYTHING. This is the 7th time I visit NYC and no matter who I am with in the trip, I make sure to stop by Guantamera and say hi to the pleasant owners, Mario and Lay ❤️ and enjoy the delicatessen of this place! Until the next time!

I like the live music, excellent service. We have a chance to dance and mojitos are so good.

I recently dined at Guantanamera with a friend, and we had an amazing experience! From the warm welcome to the attentive service, everything was great. We started with delicious croquettes and enjoyed flavorful ropa vieja. For dessert, I had a heavenly tres leches cake, while my friend loved the banana pudding. Highly recommend!

The BEST Cuban food we’ve had in the states. It was loud but there was a live band and it was great!! This is a must eat!

Fun place, very tasty food, music and dancing. It is very loud and hard to hear conversation. Not a criticism but should know for awareness.

This wasn’t the best Cuban food I’m used to or maybe I’m used to Floridian Cuban food. This cuisine tasted different and needed more seasoning

This place is amazing! The staff was great the food was delicious and the vibe was magical. I was confused when I saw the 1 and 2 star reviews and then I realized that those people are prudes. This place has a lot of energy and the staff is very welcoming. You are guaranteed to have a good time.

Great Cuban good, really enjoyed the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Will have to go back when live music is playing.

We had the Cubano sandwich and chicken and rice. Both were excellent! I'd also highly recommend the Cuban-inspired bread pudding.
