Le Green Dragon Tavern & Museum est la dernière attraction de l'heure du Carlsbad en Californie. L'espace de 22 000 pieds carrés dispose d'un musée, d'un restaurant, de 2 tavernes, d'une boutique souvenir et d'une salle de bal disponible pour des événements corporatifs ou privés. Le G.D.T. & M. crée une ambiance accueillante pour célébrer, se commémorer et honorer l'histoire américaine, les pères fondateurs et apprécier leur contribution à notre société moderne. Offrant un accès gratuit au musée, l'établissement abrite des documents datant de l'époque coloniale et de la guerre de l'indépendance. C'est l'occasion pour petits et grands de découvrir les richesses de l'histoire du pays. Le chef du restaurant, Gregory Krol propose un menu où les traditions de «l'ancien monde» et du «nouveau monde» se rencontrent. Il est essentiellement composé à partir de produits locaux provenant des fermes, et issus d'une agriculture durable.

The restaurant housed in this historic building offers a diverse menu. There is something for everyone, the portions are generous and priced right. We enjoy taking our friends and family there and everyone appreciates the museum exhibits. We prefer to eat in the large bar area, but there is a formal dining room as well as large banquet rooms.

This place has a special charm, with unique and wonderful food. Great historical flavor and feel. Love to just look around and appreciate our revolutionary history. Never had a bad meal and the staff is so friendly. Something for every true American.

Good food, but standard restaurant taste and presentation. A few oddities but meat was good. Short Ribs and Hanger Steak. Lobster role was underwhelming and Brussel Sprouts were good but sweat. Value wasn't the best for quality. Ambiance very beer hall ish, the museum is very interesting and full of unknown historical stories.

The food is fabulous, and the portions are large. Even though it was Valentine's Day and busy, the staff was amazing, and the food was great.

Valentine's dinner was AMAZING. Lobster tail and NY strip perfect, risotto rolls were out of this world. Great value for a wonderful meal. Guinness on tap is icing on the cake.

Everything about this we liked. Food and appetizers were great. Service great. Beer selection is outstanding, and priced at $6 for pint. Everything was super reasonable. I had short rips, and it was fantastic!

Always enjoy eating here- nice atmosphere and good service. My friend had the Pit Pie which was delicious- lots of great ingredients and flaky crust . My fish and chips were wonderful- we both will return! Good food and good quality .

We've been wanting to check out the Green Dragon for about a year and decided to use Valentine's Day as an opportunity. Firstly, our reservation noted that we were on a date night, but were seated immediately beside a large, very loud group of women. Good for them, loved that they were enjoying their night out! However it made conversation between my husband and I pretty much impossible. The food was, eh... both my husband's and my meals were over salted and otherwise kinda tasteless. Toward the end of our meal, we asked for a to-go box and then waited 25-30 minutes for it to come, and to be able to ask for the check. The decor was pretty interesting... Revolutionary War decor and memorabilia. We didn't go to the museum, but if it's reflective of the restauraunt decor, then I'm sure it's a fun visit.
