We ate early and town was quiet but the restaurant was not noisy at all. Lovely ambiance and the food is amazing. The sea bass was delectable.

The bartender Kevin makes fabulous drinks and he is a great person! The food was superb and the service very attentive. The general manager Ryan checked on us and the whole staff wished us a Happy Anniversary.. it was a great experience 👏👏

It was our first time at Grasing's. We went to Carmel for a day to celebrate my birthday. Fortunately, we were able to get reservations for lunch. The food, service and ambience were absolutely perfect! We enjoyed it so much, that we're already thinking about going back for dinner sometime in February.

Steak was poor quality, it had an oxidized taste, not like beef. The lamb had no crust or flavor, and it was undercooked. Instead of grilled, it tasted boiled. Mussels were full of sand, the Chanterelle mushrooms also full of sand, we had to spit them out. Sub par onion rings. They took our plates after our seafood tower appetizer, but didn’t give us new ones. They served dinner and we have no plates or utensils for over 5 minutes. The food sat in front of us getting cold. This is absolutely rude and unacceptable. The waiter was nowhere to be found. When told about the sand, the waiter told us they were wild, so sand is normal. We are mushroom foragers, and chanterelles are one of the easiest to clean. Why is he giving us reasons for this being acceptable instead of replacing, comping or apologizing? The waiter raved about the onion rings, about how people came here from miles away just for them. This is the only reason we ordered them, and I’ve had better onion rings at Red Robin or Outback Steakhouse. It tasted like fried dough. Advertised as panko, served as egg batter. There were also lipstick stains on the glass. Very subpar for a Michelin recommended restaurant (for any restaurant). Our bill was $507.00. I would usually gladly pay that amount for a pleasant experience, but the food prep and quality was very underwhelming and subpar, service was extremely negligent, sometimes non existent. They didn’t even mention the birthday we were celebrating. Definitely not worth the cost and undeserving of anything Michelin or even recommendations to others.

Lovely brunch and appreciated Brian (and his team’s) excellent service! We will definitely be back. We also loved the cozy/elegant ambiance. Great recommendation from someone who lives in Carmel.

Excellent food, extensive menu choices, incredible wine selection, and great flavors. Crab Cakes were very fresh and delicious. Mussels in light tomato broth were were just outstanding. We have been here many times and this place seems to be getting even better. Will go back for sure!

AMAZING! We are locals and save this place for our special occasions. The service is the best in Carmel- bar none! We had the specials - the duck and beef medallions, beet salad and onion rings(the best we’ve ever had) The wine list is a good 2”thick. All very interesting and international selections. We highly recommend ❤️

Grasing’s is a gem. This was our first time eating here and we will come back anytime we are in Carmel. The dining room is a beautiful, comfortable, quiet space. The service fun, attentive and professional and the food extremely good. The wine list is extensive and well chosen with a nice selection of half bottles. There was also an excellent selection of wine by the glass. We enjoyed our time here so much that we decided to move to the bar after dinner for a night cap and the bartender made that a fun way to end our evening. Give Grasing’s a try. You won’t be disappointed.
