Avec son design chaleureux, accueillant et moderne, l'intérieur du Granite City Food & Brewery dispose d'une salle à manger spacieuse et confortable, d'un bar carré et moderne à service complet, ainsi que de trois salles à manger privées et d'une grande terrasse extérieure. La microbrasserie, visible depuis les principales zones du restaurant et du bar, présente de nombreuses bières primées. Le restaurant dispose d'une cuisine ouverte où le chef concocte de délicieux plats innovateurs et uniques du début à la fin, des pains plats (sans levain) et plus encore. Beware if you have allergies, I have a corn allergy and asked the bread to be checked for cornmeal before I ordered (FDA does not require it listed as an ingredient if it’s dusted)which I had mentioned, I asked the server to check the bread he checked with the chef who told him it didn’t when the food came the baguette was indeed dusted with a mix of semolina and cornmeal. The server comped the meal but I basically had fries for dinner. The rest of my family loved their meals. Therefore if you have no dietary restrictions this is a good place to eat.

We had an issue with our check. They charged us for another tables check, and did not realize this until it had went through. The notified us of the issue, then took 30 minutes to resolve it. I paid for our check and I now have to wait 2 to 5 business days to have the money returned to my account. The manager did not offer any type of compensation for there error and wasting my time. Just a sorry and explained what occurred.

The service on this occasion was terrible. We didn’t seem to have a permanent wait person assigned to our table and even had a hard time finding someone to refill our water. The food was good, but the service was not.

Overall, we enjoyed dining at Granite City. Waiter was prompt and attentive. Food arrrived quickly. Relatively good quality entrees. Only issue was the waiter asked whether I wanted the change when I paid with cash. That is either poor training or a waiter not understanding proper customer service. Owners, please train your staff to say "I'll be right back with your change." Then the customer can decide whether or not he wants to tell waiter to keep it.
