Avec son design chaleureux, accueillant et moderne, l'intérieur du Granite City Food & Brewery dispose d'une salle à manger spacieuse et confortable, à quatre côtés, puis d'un bar moderne à service complet, ainsi que trois salles à manger privées et un vaste patio extérieur. La microbrasserie, dont de nombreuses bières ont été primées par les critiques, est visible depuis les principales zones du restaurant et du bar. Le restaurant présente également une cuisine ouverte où le chef concocte de A à Z de délicieux plats, tels que des entrées innovantes de sa signature, des pains plats (sans levain) et plus encore. Les bières typiques brassées directement sur place sont notamment : The Duke (Pale Ale), The Bennie (Bock), The Batch (Double IPA), The Northern (American Style Light Lager) et The Stout. Également, quelques bières de saison sont présentés tout au long de l'année.

I asked the waitress if we could order off the menu instead of the buffet and she said no. She than gave menus to the table next to us. I would of preferred the menu due to quantity of food and price. It would of made our bill cheaper. We did enjoy the food from the buffet and they were great with my friends allergy.

Always a good experience at the bar. Service was good and the drinks were great. Food came out a little slow and without our side

Overall the experience wasn't really bad, but also wasn't good either. We had a party of 8, 5 adults and 3 children, and specifically booked our time for 1 pm on a Sunday because this is when they started serving lunch versus their Sunday morning brunch buffet. However, when we arrived, they did not provide us with lunch menus and we had to ask multiple times for the lunch menu, even after 1 pm. The food we received, from the lunch menu, was very bland and took quite a while to receive. Additionally, our server seemed annoyed with us from the moment we sat down, even though they never came around, and forgot to bring us items or brought us the wrong items. I am not sure if they were expecting us to order from the buffet so they didn't have to "do any work" with our table, but that was not the case for us, as we ordered from the regular menu. Lastly, having been in the service industry for 7 years, it is very difficult for me to tip less than 20%. Basically, you have to do a very bad job to get less than that. In this case, I wanted to leave less than 20% but when we paid, our server brought us a payment device to tap pay and stood over my shoulder as I filled out the tip and signature. Our server just looked annoyed/angry, and feeling the pressure, I felt like I had to hit the 20% button. Although, I didn't want to and maybe I should have just not, but I did not like that aspect of the service, that you felt pressured with the server standing over your shoulder as you paid. In summary, I'd go 2.5 out of 5 with this place and don't think I'll be going back any time soon.
