料理の量がわからなかったので、少しずつ小分けにオーダーしたが、適切なタイミングでオーダーをとりに来てくれた。

Food was great except for the dessert. We had the apple tart which was very cold. Normally the French apple tart comes heated. The response from the manager was disappointing. Good service

The hosts are not welcoming and I had to go to three different areas to find the saloon that serves happy hour. Staff there were not helpful. Food was ok.

The best I can say about our dinner was that the restaurant was close to our hotel, the Grand Central Hyatt, and the flatbread crackers that we got when seated were the best part of the dinner. We waited about an hour for our food, food was okay, our waiter was absent for most of the meal, and no acknowledgement that it took so long for our meals. We were hoping for better!

We normally visit Oyster Bar every year when attending the US Open. It has always been great food and service, but this year was terrible. It took 15 minutes for the server to come to our table, an hour for food to be served, clam chowder was cold, other dishes were not good, they ran out of bread. The server never returned to our table so we had to find someone else to check us out.

We sat at the small bar and downed a couple dozen oysters with some olive martinis. The bartender was great- friendly, prompt, and made excellent drinks. The oysters were great as well- particularly the ones from Irish Point. Great experience!

As a native Mew Yorker I’ve always heard about Grand Central Oyster Bar. I love oysters and seafood. Since i had business in the area I figured I’d give it a try. The place has a certain old school mystique. The staff were competent and polite. The food was awful ! Everything we ate was awful, the oyster, two different types of fish, even the bread was terrible. One of the worst meals I ever ate.

We hadn’t visited in 40 years - went with 2 friends who recommended- was a very pleasant surprise - we shared calamari & octopus very delicious & very nice portions, we had a nice table in the middle of the main room, then we all had a stew or roast - I had the scallop stew & thoroughly enjoyed it - very generous portion of scallops and the soup was so delicious. Only criticism is the teacups were much too small and hardly fit the teabag though I got an extra cup of hot water you really need larger teacups. Service was attentive - oh the Pilsner draught was also excellent- we will be back - thx
