Best sushi I’ve ever had and being from Los Angeles, CA, the bar is set very high. All the the food and drinks were perfection.

Gram and Dunn never disappoints. Food and service both are top of the line. Their shrimp and grits is so delicious, I have a hard time ordering anything else.

We had quite a few great meals while visiting Kansas City and this was by far our favorite! My husband enjoyed his sushi and my daughter and I each loved the tortellini - we were wishing for bread to soak up all the sauce! Though we would have loved to sit outside, the room we sat in had great ambience and wasn’t too loud. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in KC.

Loved our server Matthew! Professional and fun! The food was terrific -one of us had the shrimp tacos and the other had the steak sandwhich! Sat on the patio it was lovely!

The EXCELLENT wine steward helped us select a Barolo which started a bit tannic and featureless, but blossomed into a greatness with just a few minutes of breathing. She was very informative and I will look for her our next visit!

Tried this place for the first time. The restaurant has modern stone house vibes with a great outdoor area in the Plaza. Food was just ok. Sushi was not fresh with mushy rice (which was removed from the bill) my salmon dish appeared to be reheated and not very warm or tasty. The chicken and waffles were enjoyed by my husband. Drinks were probably the best part. Our server was kind but we waited awhile to place order, receive our food and get drink refills. Overall, we were disappointed in this restaurant as previous reviews were high. May return for drinks and apps just to sit outside again.
