At Gourmet Italia, experience Italy without ever leaving Temecula. Restauranteur, Alessandro (Alex) Prestifilippo moved to the states from Sicily in 1996. He takes much pride in our attentive, friendly staff, knowing they’ll provide the exceptional “Sicilian” experience Alex prides himself in. Perennially one of the best Italian restaurants in the Temecula region. Our server Taylor was superb in her courtesy, warmth, helpfulness, efficiency and overall service level. My GF ordered the Parmigiana de Norma and I had the Spaghetti with Squid Ink and scallops. Both dishes were well prepared and presented. The wine list was respectable and paired well with the menu offerings. My favorite is the Montepulciano sold under the restaurant’s own label. It has not disappointed. The ambiance was old world charm without the cheesy fake Italian pretensions seen so often elsewhere. Whenever I visit the Temecula Valley, this venue is a sure stop. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience at Gourmet Italia. We made a last minute reservation for 14, luckily they accommodated us in the private room. The service was seamless and the food was great. Good quality and authentic Italian flavors. For dessert, choose the tartufo, super delish!

We were seated right away to a perfect table where we could hear the live piano music and our server was there shortly after…she introduced herself and told us about the specials of the night and in addition explained the wine pairings with them! We placed our order and were pleasantly surprised on how fast the salad arrived along with the fresh warm bread! Our main course consisted of Sea Bass for my wife and Chicken Marsala for me. Cook to perfection and extremely tasty! Great Service and ambience!!!

Gourmet Italia is still my favorite Italian restaurant in the Temecula Valley and was the perfect choice for our Valentine’s weekend dinner celebration! The food and service is always stellar. On this visit I had the freshly made in house lobster ravioli and my husband had the spaghetti with homemade meatballs in a beef ragu…both were DIVINE! Every morsel was mopped up with the warm bread brought to our table. Soooo good! We finished for dessert with the in house made tiramisu (heaven!) and I ordered another espresso martini…the best I’ve had so far. It’s no wonder this favorite has been in business for 25 years…bravo!💘

Book a reservation to celebrate Valentines together , and only one word describes the whole experience. Phenomenal. We started off we our cocktails which were crafted to perfection, my love ordered a limoncello drop martini and I ordered a pineapple Moscow mule the taste of our drinks were sublime. Then we both shared a handcrafted Cesar salad, you can tell everything was made about the salad was in house made and the cuts of romaine was fresh and crisp. For our main course we both decided on something new to our pallets , she had a salmon Favalli and I had to try the squid ink spaghetti, both dishes were amazing the sauce in the salmon dish had a very great note to it , and the squid ink spaghetti in the mushroom sauce was absolutely divine , to finish off our night we share a fresh cannoli and it was very delicious, 12/10 will come back again , I want to try the veal or maybe the filet mignon and she was thinking the gnocchi. Thank you to the staff for bringing the whole night together.
