He takes much pride in our attentive, friendly staff, knowing they’ll provide the exceptional “Sicilian” experience Alex prides himself in. Service here is absolutely awful. We had a reservation and when we arrived they claimed to not have our reservation. They had us wait at the entrance and by the time someone arrived to help us they claimed they were closed. Never going back.

Went for wife’s birthday based on yelp reviews. I had the lasagna that was very good and wife had chicken parm. We got food lightning fast (which seemed odd to me) and they said it was because it was not busy. The chicken parm was a bit over cooked but flavor was there. Lasagna was very good. Portion size on chicken parm was generous and easily shareable. Lasagna portion was ok but could have eaten more. Prices are a bit high but All in all experience was good overall. Would go back. Candles on tables were interesting and cool.

We dined at Gourmet Italia for my birthday. The hostess Victoria, was lovely and seated us at a very nice table. Our server, Ashley was the best very attentive without being intrusive. And then there was the food!!!! The veal limone was fabulous. My husband had the fettuccine bolognese which he said was delicious. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is just perfect for a date night! We went on a Saturday night and the bartender was lovely, there was a gentleman singing fabulously and the hostess was very personable! We ordered the Caesar salad, Seabass and Fettuccine Bolognese, chefs kiss to it all! The bolognese was identical to my Nani’s! What a find Gourmet Italia is!

Like was said in other reviews, they don’t update lists online (can’t be what open table wants) so you get there to wait another 45 mins for a table and then another hour for food. We had to skip the meal but still had to pay so we could make sure to not miss our event. Tons of tables wandering around looking to close out that hadn’t gotten their food….just a total cluster. Bartender and staff are doing the best they can, but the management here is failing everyone. We heard 5 tables have their night ruined, a first date, an anniversary, and other couples just out. It’s a shame the management doesn’t understand the customer’s experience is what drives a restaurant. If this keeps up I can’t imagine they keep good staff or return customers. Will be calling to talk to the GM about getting my money back for not even getting my food in time to eat it but still having to pay. The only saving grace was the angelic voice of the crooner. Manager made eye contact with customers and then would frantically walk off to “fix” the situation. This created an environment where people complained and got their food out. It was very chaotic.

Noise level NOT energetic Surrounded by large tables of alcoholics being rowdy Tried to get waitress attention She was way too busy making sure all her tables were flowing dangerously with alcohol I imagine that since we don’t drink alcohol ,her time for us wasn’t worth the effort This restaurant has lots of promise but the noise level with all the alcoholics is unacceptable These customers were obnoxious and dangerous not only in the restaurant but after they leave on the streets. There should be more control over the flow of alcohol in this restaurant before someone loses their life Don’t mean to be so blunt but change is necessary here and hopefully someone will address this Sorry but terrible time here

The food was amazing! Alex the owner is great and always makes you feel like you are his best customer. We have had several dinners and we are never disappointed. I recommend the baked ziti. The wine is awesome and their olive oil is second to none. Anything you order is a win!

Depending on which dining room you are in, it can be loud, quiet, or in between, including with live music. If you get there before the dinner crowd, the hostess can give you a choice.
