Le Goose & Gander est un charmant restaurant situé sur l'île de Sainte-Hélène, dans le bungalow historique de Walter Martini, qui date de 1920. We sat outside on a perfect evening. The wait person was fantastic very engaging and she kept that all important smile on her face. She also asked if we needed anything rather that asking if the food was good which is a pet peeve of mine. The food was great and all in all we must say that the Goose and Gander should be a go to restaurant. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our dinner at G&G. A lot of food, easy to share. We had the burger, great choice. Would dine again.

Phenomenal. Didn’t expect anything less. Pork katsu was a new item! Loved it however I do wish it came with a starch (rice/potatoes/fries, etc.) since it’s a savory dish. The server did recommend that we get a side with it and boy was she right! I do still wish it came with the dish to elevate it a bit more. Still, our overall experience: just phenomenal!

The food was delicious, service was friendly and attentive. I was celebrating my birthday and they threw in a dessert they picked out for us. I love to wine taste in the Napa Valley and I will definitely be back for dinner.

From being greeted by the hostess to cocktails in the speakeasy to dining al fresco with perfectly served meals and wine, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in the valley. We will be back often.

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary at Goose and Gander yesterday. It was Fabulous! Service Fantastic ; Food Incredible and Wonderful Ambiance! Upstairs quiet and elegant but if you want a more casual atmosphere downstairs- also has a nice outdoor patio. Our server was attentive but not overbearing and he made Wonderful Recommendation for dessert- the Peach galette!

It may be that we were there on an off night as we saw so many great reviews. The wait staff and kitchen seemed preoccupied with a large party which meant that our service and delivery of food was less than stellar. We were missing hor D s and had to ask for the dish two times. It came during dinner. We did try the pigs ears and I would suggest that you could skip them - nothing special and overly sweet. Many of us ordered one of the burgers and they were good, cooked to order. There are so many great restaurant choices that I think you should consider other spots. Lots of places can serve a good burger.
