    First time we can say the experience was not up to par. Caesar salad was soupy with too much dressing, one steak was undercooked, the prime rib was overcooked and the lobster tails were tough. Our server was very good and apologetic and they offered us a free dessert.

    We were here in June & came again in July we like it so much.Our server was outstanding! She made it more fun! The food is cooked just as u like it.The fact that u get soup,salad & bread included,is great.We will always come back here.

    We started off with bread and the salad bar. It always delicious. The bread was nice and warm so the butter melted into every nook and cranny. We ordered calamari and shrimp wrapped with bacon for appetizers. They were brought to our table quickly and steaming hot. For our main meal, I had the prime rib and my fiancé had the chicken cordon bleu w/garlic mashed and fresh green beans. The prime rib came exactly as I’d ordered it (rare) The mashed potatoes were delicious and everything paired well with the green beans. My fiancé’s chicken cordon bleu was flavourful and plentiful. The prices were fantastic and the ambiance was relaxing. You definitely won’t leave hungry or broke.

    Great food, great service. Had the prime rib regular cut , i was surprised by how big a serving it was, cooked perfectly, potatoes were excellent vegetables were nice and fresh. Great meal for a good price

    Couldn’t be more disappointed For decades, Golf’s Steak House in Kitchener has been our go to restaurant for a special meal. It has always been great food and a pleasant experience. That changed tonight. We ordered our usual, my husband the prime rib, and myself, the petit filet. The first minor disappointment was the smaller slices of garlic bread, cut from a baguette, and a little crunchy, instead of the larger softer pieces. Nothing major. The salad bar is still terrific, and the sides were delicious. However, my filet, though cooked perfectly, was tough, I couldn’t chew it, and sent it back when the waitress showed up to remove my husband’s plate. The is the 2nd time in my life I have sent a filet back for being tough, with two very different responses. The first time was The Keg, where they replaced, not only my steak, but the sides as well, which I had already eaten from the original entree. To. top it off, they also removed it from the bill. Golf’s solution was to offer coffee/tea & a dessert. I don’t drink coffee/tea and I don’t eat dessert. She brought our bill, and the machine to pay (which had a larger amount in it, by more than $25). When I asked about the bill I asked for a discount on my meal because I couldn’t eat the meat. I would have been thankful for something off, not free, as I did eat all the parts of the meal. When I spoke to the manager on departing, he told me the chef tasted it and didn’t find it tough. The customer isn’t always right.The filet is supposed to be the most tender cut, which is why I order it, as I have trouble chewing. My hubby’s prime rib was more tender than the filet. Guess we’re going to have to find someplace new.

    It was our first time for the Sunday Brunch but it won't be our last. Both hot and cold foods were well prepared and tasty, and were replenished on a regular basis, keeping everything fresh and delicious. Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff. Our waitresses Valerie and Renée(?) were right on top of things, ensuring we we had everything we needed. We were there in celebration of our 55th wedding anniversary, and were given a surprise slice of chocolate cake, with a candle to mark the occasion. No complaints here. Nothing but goodness all around. Thank you Golf Steakhouse and staff for a very enjoyable meal.

    My wife had rack of lamb and I had filet mignon. Both were excellent. The service was great too. We will be back.
