I had an incredible dining experience at the Golden Steer with my fiance. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, and the lobster was fresh and absolutely delicious. We finished off with a delightful dessert that was the perfect end to our meal. The service was excellent, and the ambiance made for a memorable evening. Highly recommend!

The Golden Steer Steakhouse, famed as the oldest steakhouse in Las Vegas, absolutely lives up to its reputation. While getting a reservation can feel nearly impossible, it’s worth every effort—this is a dining experience you shouldn’t miss. The ambiance is classic old-school steakhouse, exuding a timeless charm, and the service is truly unparalleled. From the moment we walked in, we were seated within minutes, and the experience began on a high note. Our server expertly guided us through the menu, and we kicked things off with the seafood tower. It was a showstopper—massive shrimp, king crab, lobster, and oysters, all incredibly fresh and served with perfect accompaniments. If you’re visiting, do not skip the tableside Caesar salad. In fact, I’d go as far as to say it’s a must-have—without it, you’re missing the heart of the experience! For the main course, I had the bone-in ribeye paired with lobster, and my wife chose the prime rib. Both were cooked to perfection and full of incredible flavor. We rounded out the meal with whipped potatoes and creamed corn, which were the perfect sides to complement our entrées. And finally, the pièce de résistance: the tableside bananas foster. If there’s one dessert that will completely blow your mind, it’s this. The presentation, the flavor—everything about it is unforgettable. The Golden Steer is officially my go-to spot in Vegas. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a memorable experience that I’ll return to again and again.

The Golden Steer certainly lives up to the hype. The appetizers were amazing, the Caesar salad was the best salad I've ever had, the steak, lobster and potatoes were perfect and the table side bananas foster was delicious and the preparation was entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It's no wonder why the place is booked up 4-6 months at a time. Can't wait to go back!

The food and service were impeccable. The longhorn steak was cooked to perfection and the lobster tails melted in your mouth. A definite must go to, if you’ve never been.

We shared the 12oz fillet and a lobster tail for dinner. Both were succulent and delicious. The service (James) was top notch as well. Glad we were able to book a table on our trip to Vegas.

Simply amazing! First time here and was celebrating my birthday with family. From the moment you walk in the door staff are friendly. After confirming our reservation, all wait staff greeted us as we were led to our table. I came for the lobster tail (+ steak) plus sides, and also got the Caesar Salad & Cherries Jubilee, both of which are prepared tableside. Had to experience it at least once. Great service, great food, overall awesome experience! Classic Vegas.

The atmosphere was as expected, an elegant and historical step back into old Las Vegas. The food was incredible Our waiter Chris was excellent and so was Jarret. They made our evening very special with the BTS stories of the personal booths of the rat pack and crew.
