Le Globe @ YVR - Fairmont Vancouver Airport est le restaurant signature reconnu de l'hôtel Fairmont Vancouver Airport. Le Globe@YVR est le seul restaurant gastronomique de Richmond spécialisé dans la cuisine du nord-ouest du Pacifique et à proposer le programme Ocean Wise. Met a colleague for lunch. Had their clubhouse sandwich. One of the best I've had. .. good wine list by the glass but a bit pricey. ... Service was very good.

It was my first time. They made me feel comfortable and welcome. The food was good and the experience was worth the effort and the prices...yes I would go back.

The food and service is always amazing. Staying at the Fairmont at YVR on our last night in Vancouver is our tradition. And eating at the Globe restaurant is also a tradition. The 3 course pre-fix menu is excellent. Love the steelhead fish main entree is outstanding. Ben took great care of us and we are extremely appreciative of the chef and team who prepare our meals!! And ending with a drink at the Jetside bar is awesome with the live music. We are from Austin, TX and we come to Vancouver at least twice a year. The Fairmont YVR, the Globe and Jetside are our go to places to end our trip!!

Another amazing special night at Globe. Food was wonderful, my halibut, my wife's salmon and the shared heirloom tomato salad. Drinks are always good. Service was friendly but professional. Melissa, not our server this night, made a point of coming over and reacquainting herself with us and it made for a lovely reunion. Looking forward to the next visit.

All was good except for my Jet Burger seemed like it had been cooked by an actual Jet engine! very overcooked, some char, dry bun. Everyone else in the group really enjoyed their food.

First course soup was very tasty and seasonal. The main course…turkey, was dry and tasteless…quantity was plentiful. Brussels sprouts were burnt and the mashed potatoes were, while tasty, the portion was very skimpy. Dessert was a pecan tarte …crust was very hard to cut through, but filling was sweet but yummy. Overall, very disappointing…especially considering the price. Definitely nothing special 😏

Although not cheap, this airport hotel and restaurant/lounge is a favourite and totally worth the splurge. The wait staff are always attentive and lovely. The food is great (never had a bad choice). The drinks are imaginative, though expensive. It’s a wonderful way to while away an afternoon whilst waiting for a flight, or conversely, a great place to stay pre-departure. This time we stayed on Thanksgiving, and were treated to an exceptional 3-course turkey dinner with all of the trimmings. The spicy maple glazed Brussels sprouts were over the top, as was the fall bisque to start! We highly recommend this overall experience.
