Wonderful visit with family to the Glass House Tavern, and reminded that it has indeed been too long since our last visit. Everyone there is lovely from the greeter to the service. The food is outstanding and exquisitely plated. We shared Burrata and tomato that was delicious and tuna tartar, which was also delicious but we were four and there were 3 cones in their presentation. Would gladly have paid for an added cone but ended up sharing. The entrees were excellent. Two of us had the special Branzino on zucchini (this was so delicious), one had Shrimp Fettucine that was scrumptious, with just enough to take a bit home, and one had Lamb Shank (nothing left there). Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc was perfect as one the Blood Orange Martini that I tasted. Bread Pudding and Chocolate cake desserts were great. Love this place.

I come to this restaurant often when I visit nyc. I ordered the vegetarian dish. I asked if it had lots of vegetables. It had tiny tiny vegetables in the quinoa. Very very disappointed.

Upon arriving, we were seated immediately. Our server took our drink orders and told us the evening's specials. Food arrived promptly and we all enjoyed our dinners. The ambiance was fine, although these NYC restaurants tend to be somewhat noisy. It wasn't so loud, however, that we couldn't enjoy our conversation. The only complaint about the evening was the result of a request to our server for bread that eventually was fulfilled after a second request to a busboy. One note to the restaurant: the shrimp with fettucine could use a few more shrimp.

Everything about the Glass House Tavern was excellent. The service was outstanding. We had the omelette and beet salad. Both were delicious. The sangria is exceptional. Will definitely return.
