From the moment we arrived & warmly greeted by smiling faces at reception, we felt at ease & welcomed. The menu choices were aplenty from tantalizing specials to Gluten free, Vegan & Vegetarian options created by the chef to suit your every need. We enjoyed champagne to start with an appetizer of Beef tips & Glasbern Salads, followed by Entree's of Sea bass & Braised Short Ribs which my husband rated as phenomenal.... accompanied by warm bread & salted olive oil with many choices for dessert..... The staff entertained us with witty banter and made sure our experience was one to remember. Thank you to all who made my husbands birthday dinner top notch.... Sincerely. Tara & Christopher

The service was fabulous and the food was very good. The black Hawaiian salt in the olive oil was a great twist to start the meal. Great atmosphere-will definitely visit this restaurant again!

So quiet you could hear a pin drop. Not many in there for a Sunday evening and service was really slow. We were never asked if we wanted a drink refill even though our glasses were empty. We had to ask every time. Food was good.

The Glasbern Country Inn is situated in an idyllic valley in a country setting, as advertised. The grounds are nicely appointed and easy to explore without a big commitment to hiking. There are many lovely landscape features and views that would be nice any time of year. It's more about wandering, taking in the scenery, and enjoying the numerous photogenic moments. We stayed in the main lodge (Inn), and although the room finishes/decor was a bit tired and a little musty, the bed was comfortable, the room was large, and we enjoyed the pure convenience of having the restaurant steps away, all within a historic barn-like backdrop. We had a nice dinner for two in a booth, and breakfast was included—plenty of choices on the menu. The wine options were good. The service was excellent and very accommodating. We did not have time to try the spa, fitness, or pool, so there was nothing more there to add to this review. There are also a few event space options for weddings and such, which appeared to be nicely amenitized. This may be their more suited built-to-purpose. Overall, the experience was unique and of great value, and I would recommend it for a 1-2-night getaway or an event.

Wonderful ambiance. Excellent food. Service was a bit slow. One of our dinners was supposedly dropped on the floor coming out of the oven causing all our meals to be delivered late.

This place is a vibe. It’s our 2nd time staying at Glasbern and we always make a dinner reservation. Both the food and the service always make a lasting impression. The prices are a little steep, but that’s mainly because there’s nothing else around here like it and you pay for the ambience. I will definitely come back!
