Gjelina is a restaurant specializing in New American cuisine. Open every day from 8 a.m. until 11pm, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, try 9 grain pancakes with butter and maple syrup or warm banana buckwheat loaf with butter and jam of the day. Brunch options include Moroccan baked eggs and 7 grain porridge. Gjelina offers a variety of oysters, crudo, charcuterie and salad options to start at lunch and dinner. Main courses include pizzas from our wood fired oven and entrees like duck confit, house made pastas and roasted organic half chicken.

*A 20% Mandatory Service Charge is added to your check. Our belief is that every hourly Gjelina employee contributes to your service and 100% of the MSC will be distributed amongst them.

Excellent overall experience. Waitress was informative about selections. Food was superb. Chill atmosphere.

We were seated on the roof. All of the waitstaff were wonderful and friendly, as well as the host staff. Very welcoming! Great dishes!

Hadn't been for awhile, but used to come for a yummy time. Except for the great ricotta pancakes, it was an okay breakfast experience (food and service) overall.

Food was adequate but didn’t like the mandatory tip. Won’t be coming back.

The host was rude. The waiter was nice but maybe too busy to be attentive. The bathroom was dirty. The food was meh. Undercooked eggplant and dry potatoes. I had been looking forward to dining here for some time based on reviews from friends but really it disappointed! Maybe it was just a bad night?

Always excellent, having been on several occasions now. It seems the Crown Jewels of the menu are the roasted vegetables. Though the crispy duck from the most recent visit was also delightful, great combination of textures. The wine list also delivers, with many options offered by the glass. As a result, I could have a nice zesty orange with the roasted veggies and salad, and then switch over to a rich Nebbiolo for the duck. Overall, one of my most highly recommended restaurants in LA - with attentive service, as well. 10/10
