Everything was great. The desert was fabulous. The only negative was that the dress code was pretty loose. Folks wearing baseball hats, tee shirts, and flip flops. Need to keep this gem to a higher standard.

Forced to give only 2 stars because of stones in my pasta dish. Very beautiful place, but the reception from the hostesses was rather cold. However, once seated, the service was of good quality (it must be said that a 20% tip is included). My friends ordered the delicious and perfectly cooked thomas hawk while I chose the truffle gnocchi, which were very good until I bit into something very hard. I had to spit out the piece of gnocchi and didn’t find anything unusual at the first look. After another bite, the same thing happened again, this time hurting my gum and tooth. I spat it out and clearly saw a small stone. I couldn’t believe it, so I checked the previous piece, and there was another small stone. The waiter called the manager, who dared to assure me with a straight face that it was a reaction from the yeast and flour... that they had encountered this problem before and the chef had told him that was the explanation. The manager offered to remake my dish (which didn’t make sense since the stones weren’t going to magically disappear) or prepare another dish of my choice. I had lost my appetite by then, so I didn’t order anything else, and he, of course, removed the dish from the bill. That part was handled well, but I can’t stand being lied to. They need to take responsibility, figure out what happened in the kitchen, and make sure that dish is off the menu until it’s fixed. I bit into stones, and they should be relieved that I’m French, with strong, solid teeth, and not litigious.

Our server Daniel was amazing. He was very attentive, made suggestions on what food we should try and selected an amazing wine to pair with The food was also great. Our busier Claudio was on point. Anything we needed it was taken care of. We never had a plate on or table for long and our food was right on time. The service was 5 star I would recommend sitting at Daniel section if coming to the Versace mansion. He is such a great and attentive server. Definitely we will back at Mansion

Gianni’s is a great tourist destination, but doesn’t make the mark for upscale dining experience. If you aren’t sitting in the main room (near the pool), you will be unimpressed by the venue. Our group ordered the Ribeye, Lobster Spaghetti, Australian Lamb Chops and Faroe Salmon - all were just okay. Go for the experience, but there are much better food options in Miami.
