Dress code not inforced, some people looked like they just came out of the beach, does not represent the vibe or prices of the resturant. we had reservation, but they wanted to seat us in a corner behind a wall although many tables were open, she claimed all were reserved for hotel guests which was not true. the server Juan was one of the worst servers we experienced. it took him 20 minutes to acknowledge us, then he brought us our drinks and did not even ask what we want to order for food until he came back 20 minutes later. the hostess acknowledged the birthday celebration but waiter did not, we even left without any celebration. for the food, the bread was chewy, the shrimp was overcooked and tough, the octopus was very good, the gnocchi was overcooked and mushy, no texture in the dish and after few bites you lose interest in the dish, very heavy large portion of heavy cream and carb and no protein. the branzino was good but not deboned well. the atmosphere and venue were nice. would not come back again

The Mansion is definitely worth seeing, but you don’t need a hotel or restaurant reservation to tour the lobby, restaurant and pool area. The 20% tip and 9% service charge is included in the check resulting in the worst service imaginable. Rude, short, and unresponsive servers are all who are hired to work at this restaurant. Food is ok but not worth the hassle with the terrible wait staff. If you are curious to see what Gianni’s mansion looks like, just walk around the place. Skip the restaurant unless you like to be antagonized while trying to enjoy a meal.

My family and I went there for lunch. We did the lunch menu deal. Each person gets an appetizer, entree, and dessert. $38 per person. Appetizers Margherita pizza (husband said it was good), Fried shrimp (good), my teen children had Caesar salads (nothing special, it’s typical). Entrees: Spaghetti Pomodoro (noodles were good, sauce was ok) Spinach Ravioli (it was fine nothing special) Branzino (fish was ok, wouldn’t order again) Dessert: cream puff (not that great, didn’t like the consistency of the puff pastry) Strawberry shortcake (good, but I had better). Ordered coke (thinking it was fountain soda, it was 8oz coke bottle that cost $6 and flat tasting) Ambience: beautiful, outdoor setting. Comfort: being there in July (hot hot, humidity horrible, felt like a sauna, no AC, fans blowing with misters (didn’t help at all made the room feel even hotter). This is an one time experience, don’t think I’ll eat there again. Very uncomfortable couldn’t really eat due to heat. I also can’t get over the 20% service fee already on the tab, and it’s not really considered as gratuity. Service ok.

The restaurant setting is fabulous; it’s elegant without being pretentious. The food was served promptly and the experience did not feel rushed. The server was attentive and helpful; he also offered recommendations for other dining and visiting experiences. It was an overall great time!

Feeling the history of Versace and the spirit of Gianni throughout the whole experience is undeniable. The details and passion put into the mansion are present from the curb through to the heart of the dining room. Medusa herself accompanies you from the entrance to your seats. And no tables have an undesirable view of the mansions architecture and Versace vibe. We had the extreme pleasure of dining at the two seater next to the glorious iconic pool entrance. The greeter and hostesses were pleasant as they introduce you into Giannis world. Our attractive and humble server Erfan was gracious and entertaining. From refreshing waters and first drinks till the end of us wiping our plates clean with the bread basket. I will absolutely dine here anytime I’m in Miami. It was an honor to be a guest at this iconic and historic venue.
