Gianna's is an old world style Italian restaurant that serves very generous family style portions for two or more as well as single orders if desired. Specials change daily using the freshest ingredients available, and all desserts are made on premise daily. 1.9 miles from Met Life Stadium and the Meadowlands, New Jersey. It needs a little more entertainment maybe some music is very quiet it feels like a library. The food was amazing tho

Conveniently located less than 2 miles from the Meadowland Sport Complex, this classic, family-owned establishment is just the kind of place one would want to find when visiting North Jersey. Our last visit was 4 years ago, and my partner, our friends and I made a return visit yesterday with friends at Gianna's, situated in Carlstadt. Reservations were easily made the day before via Open Table. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff and made our way to a table by the front window. The menu is classic Italian, with either single or family-style portions, and is made with all the attention to detail and quality of ingredients one would expect. We decided on Chicken Parmigiana, Filet of Basa Sole Scampi, Chicken with Fettuccine, Steamed Vegetables, and a side of Broccoli Rabe with Sausage. Complimentary bread started our dinner. Our meal came with a salad. The food was absolutely delicious, well seasoned, and the closest one will get to home-made Italian cooking. Some of us saved room for dessert, as most is made on site, and decided on bread pudding and giant cream puffs. The staff was very funny with a sense of humor. We never felt rushed, and the service was good. We had a great meal as our stomachs were satisfied, which we can continue to recommend.

My wife and I had dinner there last Friday. We eat there frequently. The whole staff is very friendly and attentive. My wife had Gnocchi Bolognese and I had Chicken Rollatini. Both were excellent. If you go make sure to save room for dessert.

Five of us went for an early dinner prior to The Rolling Stones concert at Met Life Stadium. We ordered their family style chicken parm and rigatoni with broccoli rab and sausage; there was a house salad and two sides of penne with marinara sauce. The wait staff was attentive and the food was plentiful and excellent! We will be back!

This is my second time at Giannas and let me tell you, this place does not disappoint. They offer family style portion which is great for a large party. The pastas, appetizer and chicken cutlets were soooo good. The restaurant is small, cozy and feel very family oriented. The staff is great as well! I love this place so much! 11/10 recommend!

Gianna's is a regular spot for us. We always get the same thing: Salad, Chicken Parm, Penne Marinara and Crema Pinot Noir. Always super good. Very friendly place. Try it.

From the moment we set foot onto parking lot, we felt so welcomed! The staff opened door for and already knew our party had arrived--such pleasant, friendly waiters. We loved everything we ordered--drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts were all just delish (we had fried calamari, eggplant rollatini, chicken marsala, chicken parm and vodka penne with grilled chicken! Their bread and salad were so fresh and good too! Chianti, shirley temples and coffee were so good too! And let's not forget dessert--cheesecake and ice cream puff cake were just WOW!) Amazing! We will for sure go back! THANK YOU again for your great service and food.
