My party thought that the service was good but found the food to be average at best. My friend ordered the breakfast bowl and thought it was mostly potatoes. I had soup and a salad. The salmon Caesar was good but the French onion soup was mostly broth and cheese.

Restaurant sent invitation to anniversary celebration for lunch and dinner February 3-8. Special price for entree and side. However, menu presented upon arrival did not mention nor show specially priced entrees. Only brunch menu. When asked about anniversary celebration server explained this would only be after 3pm. Invitation was for lunch or dinner February 3-8.

Germantown Café is one of our favorite restaurants and has been during their 22 year tenure in Nashville. Our recent visit was wonderful as always. The food was stellar and the service, even better. It is cozy and pleasant without feeling stuffy. All of the staff with which we engaged were upbeat and smiling. It was the kind of experience to which we have grown accustomed and of which are fond. This visit just reinforced our love for GC and our desire to return. In a city so full of culinary options, it's a pleasure to have a place, after all these year, that we still consider to our place.

Everything was delicious but the haricot verts were just regular green beans. I would have given five stars but we were there specifically to enjoy two things included on the anniversary special menu that are no longer on the regular menu namely escargot and crème brûlée. The kitchen was out of both, which was a big disappointment.

This continues to he one of the best, most consistently wonderful restaurants in all of Nashville!!! French onion soup to die for! Pork tenderloin with yummy plum sauce and perfectly cooked vegetables! Pasta Milano light and ever so tasty! Let’s not forget the melt in your mouth crème brûlée! Special cocktails with a flair made by an obviously excellent bartender!!! A lovely night out and we so appreciated their anniversary celebration of the restaurant!!! The waiter Declan superb in every way!!! We remain huge fans!!!
