Offrant une vue sur le lac Lady Bird et sur le centre-ville, le Geraldine porte son nom à cause du célèbre oiseau exotique, une pintade, qui parcourait autrefois la rue Rainey. Le respect de l'histoire et de la culture d'Austin se ressent dans chaque partie du restaurant. I would like to start off by saying that when we booked the reservation, we overlooked that it was a tapas restaurant. While we understood the “shared” experience, none of us ordered stuff that we all liked enough to share. We had people in our group with food sensitivities that required us to get a menu item twice. Then we had to watch some people eat while others had nothing. It would be nice to have a shared situation for everything to come out at the same time or at least the option of it especially for larger groups. Two dishes at a time were coming out and we had 5 people in our group and we were hungry. Again it’s tapas so small plates are not really feasible for a larger group. We did ask the server if there was anyway the food could come out all together, and she told us no and that is just how the kitchen is and walked off. We were a bit disappointed, but what was even more disappointing, was listening to our server talk to the table right next to us about how she did not understand why we came to a tapas restaurant and the table agreeing with her. While we tried to be understanding, from a service standpoint it was totally unprofessional. Our experience was lackluster but the shining aspect was that the food was amazing. I feel if the server handled the situation better, it could have turned the experience around for us. Sometimes customer service can the dealbreaker in an experience and it was here in every sense of the word.

Everything on the menu is spectacular. From the octopus to the Ribeye, I recommend it all. And ask for Justin, his service was top notch!

The restaurant itself is decorated very well and had a light airy feel. The food here was fantastic. I had the Shukshuka Eggs and it is a new favorite dish! Blueberry muffin was packed with fresh berries, great addition to the meal. Service was quick and attentive.

Great jazz on Saturday for brunch!!!! The food was fantastic as was the service. Didn’t feel rushed but the food pacing was good.

I recently had a wonderful experience at this establishment. The service I received was top-notch, and the staff members were all very attentive and friendly. The ambiance was pleasant and created a relaxing atmosphere. I was thoroughly impressed and will certainly be returning. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience.

My wife and I arrived for Sunday brunch. We were initially seated at a table that barely cleared our knees so we politely asked to be moved somewhere else. They quickly moved us to a booth that was much more comfortable. Then they proceeded to ignore us. There were tables nearby that arrived after us, but that were promptly taken care of. We were apparently invisible until we decided to leave after 30 minutes of no service. I don't know if they were being passive aggressive or were just understaffed. Either way it was a disappointing time. The one highlight was the jazz band. They were excellent and I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed them!
