We had high hopes. To enter the restaurant we had to enter through the loud, crowded bar. Granted it was a Saturday night but then we stood waiting behind outer patrons at an empty hostess stand. Unusual for higher end dining. Food was good not great. We have had much better southern food many other times. The best part was the chocolate pecan pie. Not much to complain about; however not much to praise. The review were mixed and we choose to try it anyway and now after experiencing it I wouldn’t recommend.

Christmas menu was not advertised on restaurant’s website prior to dining. Menu options were extremely limited. Member of my party has food allergies which restaurant could not accommodate to allow selection options worth the cost of 3-course menu options. Disappointed in experience.

Honestly, on Christmas Day, I did not enjoy my experience. I was sitting after booking this reservation for over a month. I was seated right, not too far from the door, which had a lot of foot traffic, so people were walking in behind me multiple times, nudging and messing with my hair. I did not enjoy that at all, and I felt like I should’ve been seated in an area with less traffic for someone who books so far in advance. We also arrived there early, so it wasn’t as if we got there late, and then they just had to sit us anywhere. The food overall was OK but wasn’t the best. I would’ve enjoyed the other menu rather than the fixed Christmas menu, but I also understood it was Christmas time, so most restaurants do a fixed menu. I wish that would’ve been stated in the OpenTable, so I was prepared for that. My other part of the experience was that my waiter was lovely and kind. It took a long time for her to come back and check on us. Maybe that night, it was understaffed or just overly crowded. I ended up having to change my seating with my mom because of the issue that was going on, and I changed it on my own. Eventually, the hostess saw me right next to me. She ended up having to move down and say that she was sorry. I felt like that should’ve been addressed even before I decided to change my seat or move my seat Overall. I wish I had better reviews because I typically give higher reviews, but I probably wouldn’t come back to this place.

I visited on Christmas. The restaurant did a fine job of accommodating guests and moving people along. The meals ordered were tasty and appreciated. The waiter - Johnathan M was very attentive even with the crush of incoming patrons.

I've been here a few times for lunch and holidays. The experience has always been worth it from the food through the service.... both excellent!

I had not been to Georgia Browns in probably 20 years. The staff throughout the restaurant was very friendly and accommodating, which was nice given that it was Christmas Eve. The service was overall fine after a slow start getting the drinks. The food portions were ideal but the food itself was a big underwhelming. We had the chicken, steak and salmon. We decided ru provide an extra tip for the holidays but this wasn’t quite the Georgia Browns I remembered.
