Came here for the tasting menu and it was extremely good. Had about 2 appetisers, 3 seafood, 1 fois gras, 1 main course, 1 cheese plate, and 2 desserts. Each course was a surprise and you never knew what you would get in this blind tasting menu. The food was superb and the flavour combinations are like nothing you ever had. The staff were also super nice and polite and always checking in. Overall one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had!

My husband and I managed to get a last minute date night reservation on George’s lovely courtyard terrace for a spur of the moment trip to Toronto. The food was absolutely extraordinary from the fragrant lightly spiced coconut lobster dish to the melt in your mouth wagyu beef and mushrooms, to the sumptuous rib eye and savoury mochi dumplings. My OH made the brilliant decision to order the bread selection (not something I usually do) - which meant we soaked up every drop of the delicious sauces from each dish. Pretty sure those dishes were clean before they went back to the kitchen! We could not fit in cheese or dessert but the sea salt brownies they gave us to take home were beautiful too. Wines and service were in equal parts fantastic. The pianist soloist made the night even more special. 10/10 for this fabulous restaurant.

I did not love the format the 10 course tasting menu took- for every course my companion and I received a different dish, it being explained that we get to taste more of the menu. That said, splitting up tiny dishes and sharing a bite or two didn’t really excite me because it’s really hard to enjoy two bites of something and trade to a different mangled up dish of something else. It’s just my preference to eat courses in tandem. I also felt there were exceptionally long wait times between courses and when I asked a runner for some expediency half way through, that did not change the tempo of the meal. I take responsibility for this because I said we had no time restrictions at the beginning of the meal, but I also don’t want to eat over 3 hours. Overall, good meal, just not to my specific tastes.

George is our go to restaurant for fine dining in Toroto. I go with my wife a few time a year and with a few groups of friends at other times. Last night was our 10th annual dinner with 2 friends at George and everything was perfect. From our servers, sommelier, and Ellie, the GM...everyone was fantastic. The food was brilliant as always. Although a more expensive night out, you must approach it as an experience and not just a meal and sustenance. It transcends a meal and the food and night are worth every penny and an evening you will remember.

Excellent service. Very attentive staff. We ordered a la carte. Ordered cocktails and they were delicious. Food was outstanding. We had a 5 course meal. The blend and combination of flavors were exquisite. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Wonderful experience in every aspect. We had the 10 course meal with wine parinings and foie gras. Every staff member was incredibly attentive and nice, helping me and my partner have a wonderful anniversary. The food was both stunning and delicious. The wine was excellent and varied. The rooms were nicely lit , and the table we had was very comfortable. A luxury dining experience we will definitely be having again.

My son, his girlfriend and I dined at George to celebrate their graduation from law school. We all agreed that it was the best dining experience we had ever had. Food was interesting and delicious, service was impeccable and the ambiance in the restaurant and Speakeasy upstairs was fun. I will be back!

Literally one of the best restaurants ever ever ever Wow wow wow Hard to believe the creative genius that exist in this kitchen But just one bite here will prove itself out. Fun, flavorful, zesty spicy Sparky and so many other superlatives that it just leaves one wanting More! Thanks Chef for a spectacular experience three dining nights in a row
