Always a wonderful time at George. The food was exceptional, service was top notch. Never disappoints, always delicious.

My husband and I have been to George's a number of times, our experience each time has been fantastic and the food is fine dinning at it's best. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Every single part of this meal (and experience) was perfect. The speakeasy on the second floor is also exceptional.

The service was extremely poor and slow . We had to wave out to the service staff to get attention on multiple occasions. They forgot to bring out the gnocchi and still billed us and the waitress said if we would like it to go after we payed the bill . This restaurant definitely does not deserve a Michelin mention.

What a wonderful meal! We really enjoyed our evening!! So many servers paying attention to every detail. Really fantastic. Only issue was hostess was awful at entrance. Looked us up and down and silently waited for us to talk. Made us feel like we didn’t belong and weren’t welcome. Very big contrast from her attitude to the rest of the staff and meal. Thankfully that was only 2 minutes compared to the three hours of amazing service that followed!

This was the 3rd time my wife and I have eaten at George. The first was when we lived in Toronto, and then last year while visiting. We came this time with friends who had never been. They noted afterward that it was one of the best meals they’d ever had, and they lived in NY for years. It is impressive that a tasting menu is not the same for everyone. The kitchen prepares two different dishes for the couple. We went with wine pairings and the sommelier did a wonderful job! Another great dining experience. The one thing I cannot figure out is why they were not recognized by Michelin. We’ve been to several starred restaurants and George is clearly their equal and in some cases better!

Came here for the tasting menu and it was extremely good. Had about 2 appetisers, 3 seafood, 1 fois gras, 1 main course, 1 cheese plate, and 2 desserts. Each course was a surprise and you never knew what you would get in this blind tasting menu. The food was superb and the flavour combinations are like nothing you ever had. The staff were also super nice and polite and always checking in. Overall one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had!

George is definitely our favorite fine dining address in Toronto. It is where we like to go for special occasions and celebrations. We tried for the first time the 10 courses tasting menu and it met all our expectations. The originality of the dishes and the fact that they are always different (in 5 visits, we never had the same plates!) make this place unique. We also like the atmosphere of the restaurant which is friendly, dynamic and… humble despite its excellence! None of this « too much » and pseudo exclusive superficiality we too often meet in fine dining restaurants downtown. Enzo and team’s service was perfect as usual and full of attentions for us. Thank you and see you next time!

My husband and I managed to get a last minute date night reservation on George’s lovely courtyard terrace for a spur of the moment trip to Toronto. The food was absolutely extraordinary from the fragrant lightly spiced coconut lobster dish to the melt in your mouth wagyu beef and mushrooms, to the sumptuous rib eye and savoury mochi dumplings. My OH made the brilliant decision to order the bread selection (not something I usually do) - which meant we soaked up every drop of the delicious sauces from each dish. Pretty sure those dishes were clean before they went back to the kitchen! We could not fit in cheese or dessert but the sea salt brownies they gave us to take home were beautiful too. Wines and service were in equal parts fantastic. The pianist soloist made the night even more special. 10/10 for this fabulous restaurant.
