Le Galvin La Chapelle a été acclamé par la critique, et avec raison : c'est une véritable destination culinaire. Ce restaurant fabuleux, situé juste à côté de la célèbre Bishopsgate à Londres est l'œuvre des célèbres frères chef-restaurateurs Chris et Jeff Galvin, et incarne leur approche de la restauration, dans tous les sens du terme. En effet, le Galvin La Chapelle possède tout le facteur « wow » du Windows avec le raffinement élégant du Galvin Bistrot de Luxe, tout en se taillant son propre caractère en même temps. L'intérieur est vraiment spécial, tout comme la nourriture - cosmopolite, continentale et tout à fait élégante à chaque tournant, créative mais familière, spéciale mais sans prétention. Pas étonnant que le Galvin La Chapelle ait été nommé Restaurant de l'année par Tatler en 2010 et Meilleur restaurant de Londres en 2010 .

I found out about this restaurant from an IG posting about their preset menu on the weekends. We had a reservation for Sunday and we were totally blown away with the atmosphere, service, and quality of the meal. My son took advantage of the sommelier's knowledge of mocktails and enjoyed 2 drinks, while my wife and I enjoyed the wine paring selected by him. We will go back to this location when we go back to London in 2025!

Our lunch on 11th August was a delightful experience. The reception from the minute we walked through the door was friendly and warm. The ambience is classy and the high ceiling gave it an openness and sense of space. The service was attentive, friendly but professional. The food was exceptional ( loved the butter) and well presented. It is not cheap but I felt that I got my money's worth. This place is highly recommended.

First time visit, great low key atmosphere and attentive but invisible service. Tried the summer menu in which most combinations hit the mark for me apart from one. Wine pairing well worth the journey. Well presented and paired. Will come again.

The taste of summer menu is a roaring success!! 5 courses with optional wine pairing at a VERY reasonable price and each course beating the last. In a beautiful setting with friendly staff, what’s not to like?!

Fantastic food, beautiful venue - both actually surpassed by the service, which was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and a big part of making the evening brilliant. It’s definitely a ‘treat’ location, but the high standards of cooking and service made it feel good value for money.

We enjoyed this restaurant. The service was attentive, friendly and professional. The food was interesting and good. And the wine list was varied and even included some affordable wines. We will certainly return.
