We are a family of 4 who were traveling to Germany over Christmas. I was looking for a restaurant in Munich what that would be open on Christmas Eve and not have a fixed menu. Looking extensively on Open Table led me to Galleria Ristorante. On the day of the reservation we went to look at the menu and noticed that it now said it was a fixed menu for Christmas. Upon arrival we were never given a menu or directly told it would be fixed. Apparently the table next to us was not aware of this either as, when we enquired about the menu, we were told it was fixed for Christmas.
At this point another gentleman became involved and kept saying that it was in the email. I showed the hostess my email and she was able to find this information. Not once did they say what our choices would be or what was and was not included. We were only asked about allergies and did we like fish.
I kept trying to explain that we specifically picked their place because it did not list a fixed menu. The person we were talking to said it was our problem and not his.
I can totally understand a fixed menu but, €125 per person is a bit high when you have no idea what is being served, what’s included, or how many courses there will be.
Totally unprofessional in the way this was handled and I have eaten in restaurants all over the world. I have never experienced this level of of rudeness and unprofessionalism. Take my advice, avoid this place!

The menu wasn’t provided and we were put on a 6 course taster menu at 130€ per person, we didn’t ask or want this. Make sure, if you book you ask what menu you’re being put on! We felt we were deceived and this information was intentionally withheld. We should have queried this at the start but we were with friends and didn’t expect to have been placed on this without consultation.
Food was lovely though and the service was great.
We were constantly bought bottled water which we didn’t ask for and this totalled 100€ we also felt this was deceptive (9€ a bottle is very expensive IMO). We should have been asked and given a menu!
The restaurant was very quiet for a very busy night in Munich and this should have been a red flag. We were a party of 11 so very limited on where we could get in!

Sehr gutes fancy Essen
Der Raum ist ungemütlich, es war eiskalt und die Inhaberin ist wenig herzlich und unnahbar.
Unsere 3 Gänge plus Gruß kamen trotz bitte zu bremsen im Akkord um den Platz möglichst schnell wieder frei zu haben.
Kurz: Küche und Weinauswahl top, Ambiente/Wohlfühlen Flop.

Buonissimo ristorante nel centro di Monaco di Baviera. Cucina eccezionale e ambiente molto romantico. Il personale é stato molto cordiale e gentile. Ho assaggiato il loro Vitello Tonnato e Viceversa ed è il miglior Vitello Tonnato mai mangiato. Ci torneró sicuramente!

Wonderful restaurant! Although OpenTable needs to fix the pricing of this. It is definitely more expense than what it says in the app.

While the food was good, the service was abysmal. The bread served with the meal was stale. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but manager and the waiter, both Italians, were rude and pushy. The waiter’s snotty attitude spoiled the meal. Had I read the reviews on TripAdvisor, I would have been forwarned. At the end, the manager/owner proceeded to ask for a tip when I gave her my credit card. The whole experience was huge disappointment.

Dear Mr. Mazur, we are sorry to read a negative review from you. It is not what we seemed to perceive during your visit. We are sorry that for a piece of advice given to you, following the request to have some Parmesan to put in the Tagliolini with WHITE TRUFFLE, you took it personally. Parmesan, having a very strong taste, would have completely nullified the delicacy of the Truffle. It would be like buying a painting by a famous artist and painting over it. Furthermore, the service on our part has always been friendly and professional, contrary to what you wrote. The advice from us helps to understand the dish and the reason why it was conceived in this way by the CHEF.
