Both starters were excellent. Unfortunately main courses weren’t great. Especially the chicken in breadcrumbs my parter hardly ate any and when the plate was cleared we complained at the quality and all we got was I’ll tell the chef. Chicken was hard and not all nice. Only 2 staff that could take orders as the other spoke no English at all hardly. Very disappointed with the experience as the one poor lady was doing 90% of the work. Won’t hurry back and feel £188 could have been better spent elsewhere.

We really love this restaurant. The calf’s liver was delicious and we sat in the outside area which was very pleasant

Consistently reliable local Italian restaurant. Great for pasta, steak and fish. Chicken Milanese is good too.

Very impressed with our visit. The staff are very friendly and the food was delicious too. Good value for money. Parking on the streets was easy too. Highly recommended

We had a lovely anniversary meal here. Service was excellent and very friendly and the food was wonderful. We used the Thursday 50% discount deal and couldn't believe the value of our meal. Thank you

What a lovely find off of Penge High Street. The specials menu of mainly fish, was varied and yummy. (We tried 2 starters and 2 mains and all fab!) staff were friendly and helpful. Value wise it’s the best local meal I’ve had in a long time. House wine was good as was the lager. Will definitely be returning to try the cheesy garlic bread and lasagna which we spotted on the next table!

We’ve been to Friends of Flavour a couple of times now and everything is excellent, food, ambience and service, it really is a hidden gem, Would highly recommend it
