Le Francesca's Tavola est le 9ème restaurant de la chaîne The Francesca. La chaîne de restaurants The Francesca a été fondée en 1992 par le restaurateur Scott Harris, qui a commencé par ouvrir un restaurant italien petit mais accueillant, le North Clark Street à Chicago. Very well prepared pasta and excellent service. Sat inside early evening. My wife and I had simple pasta dishes that were excellent. Wine service included a nice Malbec.

This turned out to be a fantastic experience. The service was incredible - prompt, professional and friendly. But the best part was that the chef cranked out a dish for me that wasn’t even on their menu !! A couple of weeks prior, I’d had Salmon Aqua Pazza at another establishment and had loved it - but it wasn’t on the menu here. When I mentioned it to the chef, he made it specially for me !! Most amazingly, it was even better than I’d previously had ! Now that’s what I call personalized service !!

We had no complaints except for this: Plates, silverware, and glasses are whisked away from the table as soon as the fork is placed on the empty plate, despite other people at the table still eating. I ordered a cappuccino for dessert and found I had no spoon left on the table to enjoy the last of the foamy milk, because that too had been unceremoniously whisked away. It caused my guests to comment, and made me uncomfortable as well. That stated, the food was delicious and beautifully presented.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner and our server was very attentive. The host was friendly and our meal was very good. The sea bass and chicken Francoise was delicious. Chocolate tart for dessert was superb!

Came for celebration lunch and had a great experience. Service was outstanding and food was delicious. Rene was charming and attentive as was other wait staff. Vincent came by the table several times to check in bringing us a complementary dessert for our special occasion. Thanks for making our lunch so special.
