Francesca's North a intégré The Francesca's Restaurant Group en mai 1995. Le menu propose une cuisine typique de Rome, avec ses tons citronnés et terreux, et des régions avoisinantes ; la Toscane, l’Ombrie et le Latium. Situé à Northbrook, il illustre l'art de la gastronomie moderne avec son ambiance contemporaine et sophistiquée de trattoria, sa cuisine simple et délicieuse, son service amical et ses prix raisonnables. Le groupe Francesca’ s Restaurant a été fondé en 1992 par le restaurateur Scott Harris. Tout a commencé dans un petit restaurant italien situé à North Clark Street à Chicago, puis le savoir-faire s’est développé sur trois concepts de restaurant situés sur 33 locations à travers quatre états. Basé à Chicago, le groupe Francesca’s Restaurant possède et exploite actuellement 23 restaurants Francesca's, cinq restaurants Davanti Enoteca et cinq restaurants Glazed and Infused.

Staff and experience was great. I noticed the food is not the same as it used to be. It was fine, but not exceptional that I used to know Mia Francesca for. Seems they have made some changes to the quality.

The restaurant was decorated lovely for the holidays. Tables are too close together! My dining companion and I made a swift exit because neither one of us could hear the other. Service was friendly and attentive. Food is good, but nothing special. I was brought a plastic container for the leftovers! The restaurant needs to be more mindful about plastic and more mindful about the ingredients used in their food. The restaurant has potential to be fabulous…

Host sat us at a table for two and then proceeded to sit people all around us when he had the whole restaurant for seating. Very inconsiderate of the host. Very limited menu for an Italian restaurant. The server, Alberto was very kind and explained the limited menu. The only positive was the server! Once and done!

I have been coming here for almost 30 years. The food is basically very good. They’ve recently changed the menu which is refreshing. I was disappointed to see that with your bread now they have a Parmesan shaker on the table not good. I’m not at Olive Garden. Although our server was great, I really felt rushed..

Consistent neighborhood place. Had the roasted chicken which I really liked. Wife had salmon, which was a little over cooked for our taste. They do make very good drinks. The sausage and pepper appetizer was really good, almost the best part of dinner.

You are seated close to each other so it’s kind of noisy. Overall our waiter was very nice & attentive. Food arrived quickly & was so delicious. I am definitely returning.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Francesca North! Alejandro was a great server for our group of 6 with allergies. Everything was perfect and that is saying a lot on a holiday which are always very hectic for restaurants. They did a great job!

Kim took care of our family with attention to detail and kindness on Thanksgiving. Our food was fantastic and drinks were also delicious. They offered a classic Italian cuisine with a nice additional menu for traditional Thanksgiving Day offerings. Great experience for our family!

I’ve not been to Francesca’s North before, and was looking forward to coming up from the city to enjoy a lovely Thanksgiving meal with my family from Winnetka. I ordered the sweet potato ravioli, which sounded promising from the description, but sadly – I was hoping for a bit of a sweet edge to the seasoning with perhaps some brown sugar sprinkle or hint of maple syrup with some crushed pecans, but unfortunately, what I was served tasted very bland and was extremely underwhelming. I got a turkey plate to-go entree for later. Haven’t tried that yet, will see how that fares. However, I can highly recommend the Pepsi, and bread (cold not warm) w/oil and herbs. Service by the host and hostess was great, held the door for us, and we’re extremely friendly which we appreciated. Sadly again, our table found the waitress to be uninterested, gruff, not cheery, and subsequently unpleasant. The whole dining experience was not what I had hoped for and far from what I would call a good, enjoyable Thanksgiving meal. Rating = Meh | ⭐️⭐️
