Francesca's North a intégré The Francesca's Restaurant Group en mai 1995. Le menu propose une cuisine typique de Rome, avec ses tons citronnés et terreux, et des régions avoisinantes ; la Toscane, l’Ombrie et le Latium. Situé à Northbrook, il illustre l'art de la gastronomie moderne avec son ambiance contemporaine et sophistiquée de trattoria, sa cuisine simple et délicieuse, son service amical et ses prix raisonnables. Le groupe Francesca’ s Restaurant a été fondé en 1992 par le restaurateur Scott Harris. Tout a commencé dans un petit restaurant italien situé à North Clark Street à Chicago, puis le savoir-faire s’est développé sur trois concepts de restaurant situés sur 33 locations à travers quatre états. Basé à Chicago, le groupe Francesca’s Restaurant possède et exploite actuellement 23 restaurants Francesca's, cinq restaurants Davanti Enoteca et cinq restaurants Glazed and Infused.

Overall a very Good meal. The Ravioli was very tasty as was the Strip sea bass that my wife and I shared, The lentil were terrific as were the mushroom appetizers The waitress as way over work with tables and in the beginning of the evening was not very good but improved greatly as the evening went on. A good value for the quality of food served. Will come back

Everything was excellent food service ambiance and at the end of our evening there were terrible storms and downpours happening and the manager helped me to my car with an umbrella during lightning and very heavy rain which was above and beyond

Arrived on time for our reservation. I had requested a quiet table and/or booth. Sat us on a small table near the hostess stand. Ask to move but they said they couldn’t. We moved to a bar high top not better but at least traffic only on one side. Server was swamped so no great service but not their fault. Food was average. Not a lot of flavor with linguine and shrimp or scampi. Bread was good.

The food was delicious (as always). Felt our server rushed us. Also, it was too loud to really talk with our friends. Otherwise, we enjoy Francesca’s North.

Fodd was probably the worst Italian food we have eaten. Was their chef away or unwell? Even I am a bettet cook!

Sadly, this was not a good experience. We had a reservation for 6:30. We were seated promptly, but after 15 minutes or so, we had to wave down someone to take our order. The server (Benny) apologized and took our order, but said that it was someone else's station. Our salads arrived and the server for our table came over and said she would be taking care of us for the rest of the visit. Our food took a long time to arrive and when it did, my husband's meal was lukewarm at best. Our server did not come over to see how things were until after he was finished. We did not see her again for the rest of our visit. After being finished for 20 minutes or so, someone else came over (a manager?) to see if we would like to order dessert. We asked for our check, which he promptly provided for us and he took our payment. It was an all around disappointing experience. It seemed like we were put at a table where no one was stationed to serve us.

My Silverware had dried green food caked on it and portions weren't consistent on Valentine's day portion seemed a lot larger for my spaghetti con mozzarella but this time around my portion for that same dish was smaller and my girls portion was smaller and on top of that she has way more food on her plate then I did and we ordered the same exact thing. Server was great however and service was also great and we were promptly taken care of. Just for a $20 Plate of pasta id expect more consistency.
