Le Francesca's Amici a ouvert en juillet 1999 et est le 6e établissement du Francesca's Restaurant Group. Il propose au centre-ville d'Elmhurst un restaurant avec l'ambiance contemporaine et sophistiquée d'une « trattoria » offrant une excellente cuisine rustique, un service amical et des prix équitables. Le menu présente une cuisine fraîchement inspirée de Rome et des régions avoisinantes de la Toscane, Ombrie et Latium. Situé au cœur du centre-ville d'Elmhurst, le restaurant se trouve à mi-chemin entre le centre-ville de Chicago et les banlieues ouest. Le Francesca’s Restaurant Group a été fondé en 1992 par le restaurateur Scott Harris. Tout a commencé dans un petit restaurant italien situé sur North Clark Street à Chicago, puis le savoir-faire s’est développé à travers trois concepts de restaurants situés dans 33 emplacements à travers quatre états. Basé à Chicago, le Francesca's Restaurant Group possède et exploite actuellement 23 restaurants Francesca, cinq Davanti Enoteca et cinq emplacements Glazed and Infused.

Great experience all around. My family and I came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The service and food was awesome. Each of us ordered a different entree and all were amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Food was very mediocre. Not the same Francesca Amici 10 years ago. Main entree was super small and very expensive for a pasta dish. I have celebrated my daughter’s communion and confirmation there and I had very fond memories with great food. My experience yesterday 6/29 celebrating my birthday was such a disappointment. On a positive note enjoyed Salvador who recognized me from 10 years ago.

Food is always good. My hubby & I both had pasta with sausage & vodka sauce. Started with carpaccio & Caesar salad. The issue was our server. Second time he waited on us. So slow both times. After you finally order he never comes over until you are done. After the 3rd course he comes over & asks how is everything so far. So far? We are done eating. Last time we went same thing. Manager had to step in to help cause he was folding napkins. And it was not busy at all. We will dine here again but we will not have him as our server. Other servers were more attentive.

We had a fantastic time at Francesca’s! The server jose was on top of everything and very nice. 2 managers a male and female stopped by just to make sure we were having a good time and the food was amazing. Is nice to be treated like family in a restaurant a thing that Francesca’s has not forgotten!

We’ve been going to this location for about 16 years. I won’t be going back. Mother’s Day brunch was a flop. We had dinner at 6:30. The food was bland. There were dirty dishes and food on the floor. We had to beg for silverware. They didn’t have linen napkins. They ran out. We had to use paper cocktail napkins. We asked for water over and over again. The waitress would walk away and forget three times. We had to get the water ourselves finally. The waitress never showed up to see if I wanted more wine or salt and pepper. It was a very expensive dinner and the food was not even good. There was no ambience in the room we were dining in. My daughters even commented there was nothing cute for Mother’s Day. They handed us a flower, but we would’ve rather had cute flowers on the table. Our waitress was terrible and not attentive. Our bus boy was the only one that seemed to care! It was very expensive and not worth a fraction of the money. We felt like we paid a fortune for a dining experience that was more like a bad cafeteria experience. It was so bad I’m never returning.

For the price of the Mother's Day buffet was overpriced for the quality of the food the carving station beef was raw the cow was still mooing the pork was dry the Rossotto had no seasoning very bland the mash potatoes were not creamy little dry. would have been better off going to the golden corral.

We had the Easter buffet. They were out of everything and seemed like very sparse options. They also lack ambiance - the room in the center is like a loud rec room with bright lights. Probably won’t do a buffet here again for the price.
