Great dinner started out very oddly. We showed up early for our reservation and were told by the very friendly hostess that, although our table was ready, we could not be seated as they only seat people in 15 minute increments! There were no seats at the bar - and others were sitting in the chairs available for those waiting for their tables. So- my elderly in-laws stood while we waited (15 minutes) to sit down at our otherwise empty table! Go figure.

OK, but not what it was. All three entrees were "off" from what they should be. Down a notch from the 50 other times we've eaten there

We had a wonderful time and food,as usual, at Fortify. We were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. Thank you Fortify for a lovely experience.

One of the best. Four people, four different entrees, and four happy diners. The food was great. We had fantastic service. I’d definitely go back!

I learned about Fortify in a Wine Enthusiast article and made a reservation on a whim after visiting local wineries. I was super impressed with the quality of the food, drinks, and service. Big portions, super fresh and local food, and interesting flavors. I highly recommend if you’re in the area!

They were offering a new menu for the season. I had the fish and grits and my husband jas the pork tenderloin. Both were exceptional. We also had the pork belly appetizer and frozen mudslide dessert. Too much food but it was a special occasion and we enjoyed every bite. The wait staff was exceptional as well.

We had reservations and were sat at our table within a few minutes of arriving. The tables on the left are pretty close together but the overall ambience is good and the noise levels were pretty good. Our server was very attentive and helpful and did a great job. Bar staff were quick to get our drinks to us and the food came from the kitchen very timely. The meatball app had a good taste but the meatballs were very dense/borderline hard. My wife enjoyed her pecan crusted trout and the sides that went with it were very good as well. My Filet was overcooked but the sides were very good. The mash had a great flavor as well as the collard greens. They recooked my filet and unfortunately it came out over cooked again. I ordered medium rare and both times it came out medium/medium well.

It is always one of our favorite places to go especially taking friends and family there. Joey is our favorite and always does an exceptional job serving and giving advice on the best meals. Love you all. Bill

Had not been to restaurant for way too long. Brought foodie friend who had never been there. Food was delicious. Olivia was an exceptional server. Returning soon.
