The food was out of this world! The arugula salad was amazing and everything was so tasty. Lovely service.

Everything was great (really delish food and great presentation!) except they charged us a sharing fee without the server mentioning it and I'm bothered for the following reason: if all someone orders is something to share, then it's totally understandable. We (two people) ordered two cocktails, two appetizers, and then one entree to share because we just can't eat that much, and it was late. If we had come in an ordered just the appetizers, they wouldn't have charged as sharing fee, so we got penalized ($10) for ordering more! And, the restaurant might argue that they split it on two plates and provided extra fries, but we needed none of that and left over ALL the fries! Just seemed very petty. Otherwise, we really like the place and have been there before without this type of incident.

Fortify never disappoints!!! Went out on a limb last night and get the pork chop entree. It was a Fred Flintstone size portion and was juicy and tender. I was torn between the fresh Red Snapper and the pork chop, so I'll have to go back soon and try the Red Snapper and report on it!!

Overpriced, but better than average food. But OMG, the pretentiousness of the people working there. A tall guy was walking around like a maitre'd in a comedy movie, 'I'm the owner, I'm the owner', drooling on his shirt. At least it was first class entertainment.

I remember you, you're the guy who was too good to sit in our back dining room and who was very rude to my 16 year old hostess calling her a liar. I was quite polite to you actually. Here is my review of you as a customer: 1 star, rude, would not recommend.

Our server Joey was awesome from the start! He was so kind and attentive and made great recommendations. We loved his energy and charm. The restaurant itself was awesome and the menu 10/10 on the variety and unique variety of choices. We had the Gouda bites and fried green tomatoes to start. My husband had a burger and I had the smoked half chicken with collards and truffle Mac and cheese YUM! You don’t want to miss this gem when you’re in Clayton. :)
