Love Forno but the service was slow - we received our appetizers before our cocktails, bummer! The pasta with garlic and broccoli didn’t have flavor, the cheese calzone was burnt and no flavor. The pasta with sausage was tasty and the crabcake appetizer was great as usual. The bread was great but we needed to ask for balsamic to go with the olive oil. The wait staff needs to tell customers about the loyalty program. We love the happy hour at the bar and will likely continue but not order dinners.

We made a last minute Open Table reservation on a Saturday night. Hostess was originally not able to accommodate our request to sit inside in the AC but quickly found us a table to move to. Food was delicious and generous portions. We had lunch the next day! Recommend and will be back.

The eggplant appetizer was delicious. calamari was chewy. I had the pasta special. It was very good. My son had the ribeye special and cleaned his plate. Service was just OK. The hostess was wonderful server not very attentive. All in all enjoyable.

Great food and attentive service but we did feel a little rushed. The food came to the table immediately after placing order - it would have been nice to have some time to savor the experience. Great drinks at the bar before dinner. The bartender was attentive and friendly and the lavender gimlet was delicious! Would definitely return!

Huge portions home style Italian food. Service is attentive, our waiter Nelson was lovely . Recommend but make a reservation as it gets busy

We were there on a busy Saturday night so hard to find a quiet spot . They tried to accommodate that . Excellent Caesar salad species you like anchovies, We shared Melenzane and pink sauce penne . All very tasty . Very large portions . Wait staff really nice .

Our waiter took our order for appetizers and pasta entrees. The appetizers came out promptly. NOT so with our entrees. We sat waiting while 4 tables that arrived at least 10-20 minutes after us were served their appetizers and entrees. After a few inquires to our waiter who kept telling us they would be out soon. They were NOT! Our waiter did absolutely nothing to get our food out. IMO that is a waiter’s primary responsibility to make sure his clients are served in a timely manner. He did NOT! After enough of a disappointing and frustrating wait we cancelled our entrees (still not sure if they would have ever been served) paid the check and left. All in all a terribly disappointing experience.

We requested inside table but there was a larger party and they sat inside. There is outside section with overhang and some privacy from the street area but it was very noisy and it was very warm and crowded. The waiters kept bumping into the outer chairs of our table. The food was on the salty side and they ran out of one of their signature dishes. The waiter was okay but service could have been a lot better. The prices were average. I wish we dined at another place in Saratoga Springs. Lots of other options.

Really had high hopes as we like Chianti and Boca Bistro which DZ owns as well. Started out bad as the hostess couldn’t figure out where to seat us. We were put at a table in the middle of the room. We asked to move next to the wall. I mean our chairs were literally on top of the tables front and back of us. The hostess said tables were reserved or needed to be cleaned and we sat for over 2.5 hours and no one sat there. The waiter so busy the guy got in the weeds and we think he forgot to put our order in. Everyone that came in after us ate and left and we were still waiting for dinner. I always order Linguine with clams the first time I go to an Italian restaurant. This dish was so salty, I couldn’t eat it. My wife had pappardelle and Ossobuco. That dish wasn’t bad. My sister in law got the special which was seafood in a white sauce. There was no sauce. Super dry. She asked for more sauce and had to wait 15 minutes. The sauce was so salty she couldn’t eat it and left the $46 dish. We spent $387 for 3 people. We will not be back. Can’t see how this place is still in business
