Situé dans le centre-ville animé de Saratoga, le Forno Bistro est un bistro à la gestion familiale proposant une cuisine traditionnelle de style toscan. Les chefs cuisiniers du restaurant utilisent uniquement des produits frais de saison pour préparer des plats à la présentation et aux arômes incomparables. Le menu, à la fois sophistiqué et accessible, met en valeur le côté familial si cher au mode de vie toscan en proposant une cuisine copieuse et sans prétention aux saveurs contemporaines et créatives tout en conservant des influences traditionnelles. An important barometer of a good restaurant is how they respond under pressure. We went as a party of six on New Year’s Eve and they passed with flying colors!!! The service was awesome, the staff was very attentive and patient with all of our special orders. Strong drinks and great food is the bottom line. We ordered the Crab Cakes and the Caesar’s Salad- both amazing. The two apps were enough for the table. The bread was soft and crusty and there is excellent olive oil on the table. It was a perfect way to enjoy the first cocktail of the night. The main courses were served promptly and came out hot and they all smelled delicious. I ordered the lasagna and it may have been the best I’ve ever had- it was cheesy and filled with meat. Their red sauce is the bomb. Talk about the ultimate comfort food! Other orders were pasta with pork osu bucco- winner! Linguine and with Clams and Pancetta- did not skimp on the clams and it was so tasty. Fish of the Day- Sea Bass with Risotto- let me tell you something, I don’t love eating fish, but this was amazing. Eggplant Rolitini- again- amazing red sauce and a wonderful choice. And on to the desserts- Zepoles- maybe a bit of a disappointment for us- I don’t think it was their best effort because the batch of doughnuts were hit and miss- the ones that were good, were great. Just not consistent. The big winner of the night was the Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake- in a word- WOW! There are a lot of great restaurants in Saratoga, I place this one at the top of the list

This restaurant is centrally located on Broadway in Saratoga Springs. The food was excellent. My daughter had the pasta with sausage and eggplant. I had a Caesar Salad with shrimp along with a fried eggplant and ricotta cheese appetizer. They have several mocktail options- I had the Winter Punch. My son had the calzone, and my husband ate the Pork Osso Buco pasta. All dishes were good and ambience is lovely! We plan to go back when we’re in Saratoga Springs!

We were a party of 3 with a reservation and we were seated immediately. We each had a great dinner served by an excellent waitress. It was a busy night and pretty loud in the restaurant but we never felt rushed.

Was not sure what to expect after reading a number of reviews, thank goodness I didn’t let the negative ones put me off . Forno Bistro is my new favorite restaurant in Saratoga Springs , everything was excellent and the best Lasagna I have had in years . Service was great . Noise level was loud more due to a few large tables of diners enjoying their Christmas get togethers. Booking online was easy and convenient , and thankfully we pre booked as we would not of got a table it was a full house !!

Grey Goose Dirty martini was awful, the olives were spoiled. After that the food was very good. crab cakes had a great tomato based topping and the tarter sauce had just the right amount of red pepper flakes. The truffle pizza was Amazing.
