Le Fogama est le dernier restaurant japonais ouvert à Rye et le plus créatif ! Haut de gamme, il offre un cadre confortable, soigné et paisible, ainsi qu'un service personnalisé. Not the usual dining experience with very wild uncontrolled kids running amok! Parents should know better! Wait staff and food are always excellent!!!

Amazing experience. We requested recommendations from the staff about plates and quantities and they provided us with perfect choices, even for the drinks. Place is very cozy, quality is great, definitely will return many times.

Excellent food at a fair price. We enjoyed a wonderful meal there with appetizers, cocktails, and deliciously prepared food. Best of all was the service and the attention to the patrons that they paid. We don’t live here, but will come back to this restaurant again every time we are in town.

The sushi quality is good and I liked the sake flights. But this restaurant is most unaccommodating. I prefer having no salmon on my platters and every sushi restaurant I have ever eaten at (that is a lot) accommodates my preference with a substitution (I let them decide). Here the chef would not consider my request or any modification to the $35 8-piece + 1 tuna roll platter. So, I was served a platter with 2 pieces of salmon because the 8 piece platter has only 4 types of fish. There is no sushi/sashimi platter on the menu. The shumai was meh. My friend had the black cod with miso and he found it so tasteless that he didn’t eat about half of it. The waiter noticed; he explained; and she said she would talk to the chef about it, but nothing was done about it… no offer to take it off the bill or for a complementary dessert. We were 4 and we all resolved never to return.

Great food, ambience and excellent location. We visit the restaurant atleast once a month. Only area of feedback - they make a bit of fuss when we are late for the appointment many by even 4 minutes.
