                                                                                                  RG was our server who was lovely and attentive but when he was not immediately around there were plenty other staff happy to assist . My only slight criticism was there was 4 or 5 different people coming asking if we were ok etc. Lighting would be better slightly less dim. Food was lovely! The duck leg was juicy and tender, cooked to perfection. The veggie hot stone rice was a great amalgamation of ingredients! The ingredients were then mixed in the hot stone bowl at the table. The chicken yaki skewers were also full of flavour. Furthermore, the drinks. The mint fizz was awesome but there was a lot of ice…and the Havana 7 Rum I expected to be a golden rum but it was a white rum yet it was still nice. Reasonably priced.

                                                                                                  The restaurant has a cool vibe and the service was attentive, friendly and prompt, but I don’t understand the hype about the food. It seemed gimmicky and the food was okay. The “sashimi” was cut into thick slabs rather than thin slices, which may be a better value, but was odd. The various meats were heavily salted and sauced. The cocktails were unbalanced.

Zero guidance on what to order from server, had to ask a number of times for the same thing. Then had way too much food; and they wouldn’t let us take some home. Loud annoying music, couldn’t hear anything (and i’m not old) - dark moody lighting. Better places, with better service, atmosphere and value for money. Food was good but frustrating to waste so much.

The only issue I had was we alerted the team on booking and via phone that it was a birthday meal twice, but nothing was done for the celebration which was a bit disappointing.

                                                                                                  It was amazing! My glass was never ever empty! The sushi & sashimi, & all the food was great. I highly recommend. I hadn’t been in a while & it was better than i remembered. The staff are top tier!
