As usual the service was spectacular. My steak came out over cooked (medium well to well done vs medium rare) and they promptly refired another. Great tasting as usual.

This evening’s dining experience was a complete disappointment. We loved our experience at Flemings Peoria, AZ but Flemings West Hartford, CT not only didn’t meet our expectations, we will never return. What was supposed to be a celebration - has left me sitting here extremely ill. It clearly shows on my reservation notes - and I also informed our server before we placed our order - that I have an onion allergy and yet, the cheddar-thyme butter was filled with leeks - yet our server denied it, even though they were clearly noticeable and I didn’t realize until I started to eat it. And as the Mac & cheese was placed in front of me - this is when our server decided to inform me the sauce had leeks in it. Wouldn’t you think she would share this when I placed the order so I could choose something else? So I couldn’t eat it. And while the tuna poke was tasteless and the lobster was over cooked and over seasoned… this I could overlook but to add the incredibly slow service (we waited a full hour before our entrees were served and no, we didn’t order appetizers) and neither our server nor the manager made any attempt to explain why things were so off this evening and made no attempt to rectify…Bottom line - there was no care for the well-being of their patrons. There are far too many exceptional restaurants in the area - and this experience was just so disappointing. My advice - go to Max Oyster, Max Downtown, Capital Grill — all far better experiences (from great food to exceptional service) - you will not leave disappointed as that’s how we left Flemings this evening.

Parking is a pain and you have to pay for it. It’s nominal. I don’t like West Hartford for that reason but I put up with it to dine at Fleming’s.

Awful experience. We needed to chase our server down for starting bread. They forgot our sides and then I (yes me!) had to ask to get it taken off the bill. $300 later I had the most mediocre meal I’ve ever had. Go to chilis and have a steak there instead. Not going back.

We went for our 36th anniversary celebration and it was an enjoyable evening. Our waiter was good not too energetic but his service was great. The manager was great, cordial and inviting checked on us multiple times to ensure a great experience. The food was delicious The Tomahawk Special I definitely recommend. The ambience was great not to loud vibrant and bubbly. I really enjoyed the evening.

Went for lunch with family. Had a reservation and was seated quickly no wait. Solid service, food was excellent ordered signature burger and Dad had fillet mignon. Only issue will be parking if you’re not familiar with the area. Otherwise it’s one of the best steakhouses in the region.
