This was the best upscale restaurant in Austin that we tried so far. The ambiance, the service and of course the food were top notch. We started with deviled eggs and house made biscuits. The biscuits, oh my god felt like they came straight from the heaven. The pot pie, salmon and halibut were all excellent. Our waitress was super sweet and efficient. Would definitely come back here.

Delicious meal. Wonderful ambiance for Valentine's Day. No exorbitant holiday Prix Fixe menu. Able to enjoy regular menu items along with a few specials and receive excellent service.

My catfish was poor. French fries cold & hard. Wife asked for hamburger to be well done. It was burnt.

We wanted something we had not tried and close to our show location later in the evening. Jeremy was a great resource for our dining and drink selection. We got the biscuits and they were so good. The shareable shrimp and grits were delicious as well. We will be back to try more of the menu!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. We bought a group of 10 and they were so accommodating to us, and our server was absolutely incredible. The food was outstanding, per usual. Always a great experience and fabulous food when you come here.

The food and service were top notch. Can't stop thinking about the okra, biscuits and halibut. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and informed. Will be back.

The food was very good. Loved the variety of choices. We had the deviled eggs for appetizer and they were very tasty, we also got an order of biscuits, after trying them we got some to go. Our entree was the halibut with crawfish bisque super good. Our waitress was Brooke and she took great care of us. Service was spot on. Highly recommend for a really nice night out.

This is one of my favorite places!! I had the biscuits which are phenomenal. Light and fluffy and the are served with butter, honey and a seasonal jam. I always bring out of town folks for these biscuits and they are always blown away. My go to dinner order is the spicy honey fried chicken. It is another delicious experience and is cooked to perfection. I actually getting hungry typing up this review just think about it. They also have these potatoes that are like fried mashed potato balls…they were AMAZING!! The service was excellent and I do love the atmosphere. The lights are low but it makes the restaurant feel cozy.

Food was very good -- rich! A few lighter items are needed on the menu, perhaps for spring/summer months. Service was also very good. Ambiance, however, was a bit lacking: 1) dirty at entry; 2) despite reservation, we were first sat in bar next to server's station and when we asked to move to the main part of restaurant we were put at a table next to families with your kids/babies. Interior area with hanging lights looked nice, but we were just at a bland table in what appeared to be the "family" section -- this area just seemed like a chain restaurant. We were here to celebrate my son's promotion -- I included it on my reservation hoping for a nice table and at least a mention of it -- no. Despite it being a bit disappointing, the biscuits and the halibut were quite good.
