Service was sub par. It was confusion delivering out meals and replacing silverware. Had to wait for our check.

We came to celebrate our anniversary, and the food was phenomenal. Unfortunately, the service left us with a sour taste. I had told Fixe it was our anniversary through the app, but nobody knew. Our server had put us on the back burner the whole night, catering to all the tables around us while we sat and waited. It took 45 minutes for my partner to get his wine tastings, let alone the wine glass he wanted. We got to the end of our meal so frustrated that we turned down free desserts because we were concerned our two hours would turn 3. Our server was always behind the bar, making drinks or caring for a larger table. We would have loved to feel confident we could have shared a desert and a port, but we thought we would be forgotten again and left waiting for service. Should we have spoken up? Maybe. We did have to ask a manager for our wine tastings, but it was our anniversary, and we wanted a dinner that didn't require us to lead the staff serving us.

Jeremy was awesome, knowledgeable and friendly waiter, food was spectacular, steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Will be back next time in town!

This was the best upscale restaurant in Austin that we tried so far. The ambiance, the service and of course the food were top notch. We started with deviled eggs and house made biscuits. The biscuits, oh my god felt like they came straight from the heaven. The pot pie, salmon and halibut were all excellent. Our waitress was super sweet and efficient. Would definitely come back here.

The initial entrance is invigorating but once seated nothing extraordinary. The bar are is nice and lively the dining area gives off a mix of ramen tatsuya dim lit red lobster vibes. The biscuits are less than Cracker Barrel biscuits all hype. The deviled eggs while I was hoping for Jeffrey’s were a tad bit disappointing. Good idea but less egg less whip more masago sz to an hors d'oeuvres. The wait for the food while simple took an hour to come out. The pork chop was nice, the greens while more than a splash lacked that southern taste which three out the southern touch. The tea while interesting presentation there’s nothing southern about it. Make the drink selection more southern. When rated amongst 5 ppl 6.5/10
