FIVE Restaurant Bistro is a local family owned restaurant specializing in comfort food with a local flair. We strive to provide great food and service in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. During the warmer months we also have some of the best patio seating available in the Edmonds area. During the fall and winter, the outdoor seating area is enclosed and heated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here. Wait staff is incredible—hard working, attentive, friendly, and professional. That alone is worth it as many Seattle area restaurants fall terribly short in this department. Our meal was delicious! Seasoned well and good portion sized. I had the Oso Buco special and my partner had the filet. I’m not going to lie, between those items and two glasses of their most expensive wines, we did spend some money. But I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again. The quality of service, food, wine selection, and decor made for a great date night. The noise level is admittedly high inside the restaurant, but I did notice there is heated outdoor patio seating and perhaps it’s better out there. That said, it wouldn’t stop us from going there again. It bustles like neighborhood bar/cafe.

Our favorite restaurant to get delicious pizza and a salad! The pepperoni is small and crispy, not greasy on their delicious crust. Love this cozy little restaurant and only a 10 minute drive from our home.

A dear friend took me out for a birthday dinner and we dined on the heated, quiet, sweet and comfortable patio. 5 pm reservation on a Wednesday eve. The warmers were absolutely perfect. Our service was exquisite. The Carne Asada dinner and the pork chop entree were perfect. Seriously. Oh, the beet salad as well. A++ experience.

We enjoyed a great dinner.. the short rib special and chicken piccata were delicious. Only drawback is the very high noise level and the soup course was delivered before our drink order arrived. We will go again.

This is such a wonderfully consistent dining experience. The fresh sheet presents special treats to alternate or complement a varied menu. We had a fabulous filet, cooked perfectly. Attentive staff just add to a very pleasant evening.

Always great. Best flatbread around. Add a chop salad and house red wine for a really nice dinner.

This was our 2nd visit to 'Five Bistro'. This time we had a few issues, such as: my Carne Asada dish was just warm, my father-in-laws' Short Ribs was not tender as promised, my mother-in-laws' Short Ribs was tender, but her vegetable was under-cooked and hard to eat. They re-did my Carne Asada and the 2nd time it came out hot as it should have been. They replaced my mother-in-laws' vegetable with another vegetable, but they did not replace my father-in-laws' piece of meat, as my mother-in-law traded meat with him. In the end, they credited our 2 appetizers to help compensate for the issues. The wine was good and appropriately priced. We liked the ambience. My husband thought the music was not a good fit for the restaurant, but that is a subjective opinion. Overall, not as good as the 1st time, so we will see about a return in the future.

From the time we arrived until when we left we were made to feel welcome. The service was exceptional. The server was friendly and attentive. The four of us all ordered different entrees, drinks, and desserts. The meals were delicious, all arriving at the same time and hot. We will definitely return soon.
