The Lower Lonsdale restaurant scene is in need of a seafood restaurant that utilizes the bounty of fresh seafood from our unique and celebrated West Coast. Fishworks restaurant will feature timeless classics as well as contemporary , modern cuisine.

Fishworks is alive with bustling energy, an environment which is both warm and welcoming with vaulted ceilings and careful attention to detail. The colors used in the design along with the simple but elegant decor present an atmosphere which is second to none. Shallaw has also made it a priority to ensure that original heritage design features have been kept and the result is a careful blend of ” old ” and ” new “. The end result is beautiful , well designed space which promises to be a landmark among North / West Vancouver restaurants. At Fishworks we strive to be the best at everything we do. Open Mother's Day May 8th, 2022 between 11:15 am-2:00 pm and 4:00 pm-9:00 pm.

The service, the meal and the ambience were all top drawer. We live close by and it’s easy to become complacent or forgiving. But there’s nothing better than going somewhere that you know, having something new - the pistachio crusted salmon - or something that’s a standard favourite - fish and chips - and feeling like it’s home. Our server was superb with her sense of humor, calm yet comfortable care for detail and confident service. Fishworks never fails to impress.

First time back in several years. Good menu choices (beyond fish). Professional and personal service greatly appreciated. Noise level was moderate (didn't recall background music if there was anything....must be a good thing!) Food arrived in good time and presented by multiple servers (there was 5 in or group) Attentive to needs and 'eye contact' with servers was easy if/when we requires assistance. 3 'first-timers' at restaurant in my group and all would recommend and will return

Our experience with friends at Fishworks was wonderful! Service was welcoming, attentive and timely. Two of us shared the torched sockeye salmon as an appetizer - it was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the salmon wellington as well. Would highly recommend!

Our entire group had a lovely meal and superb wine pairings. I had the Salmon Wellington and the pistachio sauce was so delicious. My wife had the scallops and butternut squash ravioli, which she loved. The service for our entire group of six was prompt and courteous. We had not been to Fishworks for a while but we had an outstanding evening and will be back again soon.

The octopus appetizer tastes so good, with the happy hour price, that was amazing. But the main clam pasta was over cooked and too salty, with sand too. Coffee was too strong. Tiramisu was good.

A very nice evening out with attentive service and a nice ambience. Food was really good to excellent. Portion size was also good & they didn’t skimp on the seafood in the pasta dishes. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars all around is that two of the appetizers were not as good as others our table had - a little inconsistent. But wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend to others.
