Nice atmosphere, excellent service, great breakfast / brunch menu. Have dined here before and is one of our 'go to' restaurants for a great breakfast when visiting MOA.

It was my first time to this restaurant. It was nicely decorated and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was hot and delicious. Our waitress was attentive and provided us what we wanted. It was a really good experience for my first time.

The seasoning on the filet was outstanding! We enjoyed our meal. This could be a really nice restaurant if the service staff was more interactive. We just didn’t connect on any level - more personable. The ladies…two stalls & one sink…really? I’m not sure who laid all this out, but bigger bathroom, relate to customer… we will be back, but hoping for revamp. Just trying to help. We eat out a lot in the cities. Tx!!

While food tasted good, it was not well prepared. Waited 20 min for ours drinks (diet Coke and latte) to come out and waited 45 mins total for our food. Ordered classic Eggs Benedict. Poached eggs were over done (hard yolks)and dried out. Hollandaise sauce was also drying out. Clearly had been sitting under heat lamps for quite a while. Asparagus was a single spear that had been split lengthwise and over cooked. But the flavor of the eggs Benedict was very good. Shame it was all over cooked and allowed to sit. Also ordered the classic two eggs, bacon and wheat toast. Eggs were ordered fried over easy but came out sunnyside up and were VERY under cooked to point of almost not edible. Toast consisted of a SINGLE slice of bread. Bacon was ordered extra crispy but came out barely cooked to edible doneness. Waiter never checked back on food satisfaction or if additional drinks were wanted. We would have sent food back if we hadn't waited so long for it the first time. Not sure why it took so long and no attention from waiter as restaurant was not very busy. Bill was $40 which would have been ok if service was better and food was prepared well. Disappointing since flavors were really good and restaurant atmosphere is very nice.

For the price, FireLake Grill fell well short of our expectations. My wife and I were there for our anniversary, which I indicated on our reservation. No one from the staff acknowledged this, nor did they ask if there was a special occasion we were observing. My wife ordered the filet, medium and added mushrooms. My wife's steak was well done, but I guess on the bright side it wasn't super dry yet? We hate wasting food and didn't want to send it back. The mushrooms were merely crispy fried mushrooms which seems like an odd choice to me to partner with a filet. I ordered the ribeye, medium and also added mushrooms. My steak came out medium well. Again, don't like sending it back but I kind of wish we had both sent ours back because we walked away disappointed and saying we would not come back. We also ordered some Popovers - these are good, but also overpriced at $9 for 2 popovers. Our bill was just short of $200 and for this price range, and quite frankly for some lower price range, you can take your pick of many other steakhouses and get a vastly superior meal. For drinks we had an iced tea and a soft drink so nothing much to report there.

Great food and great service was provided by Trevor! We ate breakfast 2x and dinner 1x at FireLake while in Minneapolis. Very convenient to the MOA as well.

Food was outstanding! We had the Duty Fries for a starter. Basically is a poutine type of preparation, but was way better than any Canadian or other northern US poutine that I have ever had! Flavor was rich, cheese curds were squeaky, fries were perfectly crispy, mushrooms were perfectly cooked. I had the corn crusted walleye which was the best walleye I’ve had in a restaurant - perfect coating and perfectly cooked. Very good seasoning. It was exactly what I was hoping for in a true Minnesota-caught walleye! The wild rice and succotash were equally as well seasoned and cooked to perfection. A bit pricey, but not over-the-top for the beautiful setting and ambience with great service and fantastic food. Definitely worth trying if you are in the Mall of America area and would like a great meal.

The Walleye didn’t seem overly fresh. The heavy breading and frying takes away from the fish. Otherwise nice ambiance and place.

Great experience all around. Our waiter was so friendly. The ambiance was great. The view and beautiful light coming in from the big windows added to the experience. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they brought us a free dessert with a candle. My son and I sang happy birthday and he felt very special. We had a great time

The food was mediocre at best. Completely bland and flavorless. We have eaten there once before and remember it being good enough to come back. For what we paid for a family of four, it was extremely disappointing. The server was really nice, so we didn’t complain. We won’t be going back though.
