Firefly Restaurant est ouvert en janvier 2002 et est vite devenu l'un des restaurants plus uniques et plus respectés à Studio City. Firefly allie parfaitement le raffiné et le rustique, le rétro et le contemporain. La « Bibliothèque », le bar, la salle à manger extérieure et plusieurs terrasses offrent un espace qui est chaleureux et accueillant, confortable et animé. Usually love this place for dinner, but the food was not that great this time. The burrata lacked flavor and cocktails seemed extremely watered down.

The ambiance at this restaurant is great, however the four mini split heaters on their back patio were all set at 77 degrees in addition to heat lamps on full blast so the temperature was extremely uncomfortable. We asked our server to please turn the heat down. He said that he’d discuss with the manager. The mini splits were turned off, and the temp did cool down a bit, but it was still too warm even though we had stripped down to our tshirts. Our server was very nice and did a great job, but the portions were very small. We had salads and entrees (steak frites, miso cod) and were still hungry. The miso cod is a beensy appetizer portion served in a small bowl, but it did taste good. The steaks were very small as well. We declined dessert and walked up the street to the new gelato place, which was great … gelato place has an awesome out door patio and the gelato is delicious. Anyway, we’ve had mixed experiences with Firefly. I really want to like it because it’s a neat vibe, but can’t really justify the prices/portions. With so many great choices in Studio City and Sherman Oaks, I think they could do a little better. It’s not awful, but it’s not amazing either.

I've been visiting FireFly regularly since it opened back in the aughts, however have not been in for a long while. It was nice to see it still going strong, with the service as good and even better than I remember. The Thanksgiving menu was excellent with my daughter commenting that it was the juiciest turkey she'd tasted. The filet was excellent as well. The staff were very courteous, efficient and on point to make it an entirely pleasurable and memorable dining experience. We will be visiting again soon!

We were seated right away in the back room that was added during Covid. Our server Daniel was very attentive without being overly attentive. The ambience was lovely and the tables were all nicely set. The staff were all on point here. The food was very good. It is a more upscale casual restaurant and very romantic. You can hang at the bar for a more casual atmosphere

Good food and good service but lady in reception area almost ruined our thanksgiving dinner due to her attitude towards our request to be moved despite having 4 open tables at the area we were requesting to move to. Our waiter was attentive and helpful with our needs. Food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal.
