Firefly Restaurant est ouvert en janvier 2002 et est vite devenu l'un des restaurants plus uniques et plus respectés à Studio City. Firefly allie parfaitement le raffiné et le rustique, le rétro et le contemporain. La « Bibliothèque », le bar, la salle à manger extérieure et plusieurs terrasses offrent un espace qui est chaleureux et accueillant, confortable et animé. Service started great but towards the end of the meal the attention started to drift (drink refills, etc). I wasn't able to eat my desert until I received proper utensils (they brought me a spoon to eat a half peach that required a fork and knife). We loved the atmosphere and would probably return for drinks in the lounge but our meals were average. It was also frustrating that both people in our party had to order from the same menu. I wanted the prix fixe option but my husband wanted to order from the regular menu. Unfortunately, that was not "allowed" so we both ordered the prix fixe.

Such a quintessential LA experience. Lovely, landscaped outdoor dining area with very charming, upscale decor and comfort. Amazing service from all staff and perfectly prepared and presented California eclectic cuisine. Great for casual or formal occasion dining.

The waiter was very knowledgeable and descriptive about the menu and food. He seemed happy to be there and enthusiastic towards us. The drinks took a little while but they were pretty busy at the time. The food and drinks were both presented well and were tasty. I had the steak frites which was good, but not traditional. It was a steak with a side of fries. Thicker fries than normal for a French dish. The cut of steak was the same if you ordered a La carte. Overall the evening was an “A”

Met a friend for dinner. Cons: There was a long wait before we were seated, primarily to be at the bar or lounge to grab a drink. We had a high table with no hooks or area to put our purses. My drink was bad, so I sent it back for wine. Pros: Our waitress was very nice and wanted to confirm all our allergies. She even told us the meatballs have carrots (which my friend is allergic to) so we reordered. Food was good- we shared the tuna tartare and burrata and peach plate. My friend had the cod, I had the steak. Pretty restaurant, very busy. I did not like that they gave us our check while we were still having our drinks and talking, it made us feel rushed. Overall enjoyed our night.

They made us wait 40min for our table after we told them 2 people were going to join later as they were still at work. When we got there for our 8.30 reservation, they told us they could seat us right away and that the table would be ready soon. Only to find out 40 min later that they weren’t seating us as they were waiting for the last 2 people in our group. After checking in with the hostess a few times, who was telling us it would only be another few minutes every time. Had they told us when I asked when we got there, we would have just gone somewhere else. They then squeezed us at a tiny table with our knees touching to even fit at the table with 6 people. Last time visiting this place !
