Hochi Mama was the God Mother of all aspiring street artists and rappers in the early nineties. An immigrant in the big city, she hosted underground art shows along with rap battles for the rejects; a place where you could just be at home, but with family. The whole crew was always welcome, the more the merrier, and she was well renowned for creating innovative dishes using the original famous dishes from her home country, and plenty of booze, in her spacious and homey warehouse.This cheeky, vibrant and buzzing Vietnamese Fusion venue is one for your to-do list.     Dishes were great and reminded us of our long-ago trip to Bali. Very flavorful and not overly spicy (although the homemade sambal will jazz up any dish if you wish) Twice cooked ribs, aged duck and Balinese pork skewers were all standouts. Service was prompt and helpful. Prices were very reasonable. Great experience overall!

    Very nice dinner, seven course set menu! Feel like it was a bit too much to get through, but delicious! Our favourite by far was the birria tacos and the corn. My partner and I’s favourite date night spot, we will be back!

    We were a service for three people and had a nice table in the courtyard dining area. We had been there previously but had a table inside. Tables were well spaced and comfortable. Ordered Nachos as an entree between us. This was a small mistake as the serve was large and delicious. We overindulged a little. For mains we had the Trio of Tacos, Blanco Curry Chicken and the Lamb Cutlets. A wide variety was available on the menu for all tastes. The serves were again sizable. We struggle a little to finish then after the Nachos. Our service person was helpful and all food and drinks were delivered in a timely manner. The mains arriving just as we finished our Nachos. Overall the meal cost just under $150 for the food and drinks. My sister complimented the frozen margarita she had. Pleasant company, good meal.
